INCREDIBLE SPS Growth in a NANO Tank?! | Port St. Lucie Tank Tours FINALE
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
In this video, Vic meets up with Brandon, who he has met previously at Harbor Branch. Even though his tank might not be the biggest, his corals are growing at an amazing rate and is showing off beautiful colors! His mixed reef aquarium is filled with acropora colonies that started off as small frags! His corals are getting so big, he has to use two MP40 power heads to ensure proper even flow. He has a new tank that he is planning on upgrading to and Vic can't wait to come back and visit Brandon again!

Thank you Vic. Your interview was perfect. Asked the important questions. And Brandon had the answers at his fingertip. No, um ah um let me see stuff, and no "Like" in any of the answers. Thank you for a clear interview.

I need more on that ring to block food from the intake! I'm assuming just a piece of airline tube glued in place?

Not sure on the exact material but Airline tubing could possibly work!
Hello, your tank is very nice. I have that same light. I would like to know its photoperiod and programming, please.
Have you considered adding a macro algae in the sump and running it at night in order to counter the alk spike? I think it could be that your Ph is shifting at night due to low O2 and this in turn affects your alk
Look for Brandon on a full interview of Rappin' with Reefbum. I don't think KZread allows links to other KZread videos but this is the title of his interview with Reefbum ... "Rappin' With ReefBum: Guest Brandon McHenry, Outreach Scientist & Aquarist".
Looks great. I'm just worried the inside of that stand is gonna mold
❤
Absolutely stunning tank! I really am more of a fan of mixed reefs though. So much more movement with LPS + Softies.

What material is the top made of?
Whattupe of auto feeders are they?
It’s so hard to have an SPS tank of that size. You really need to be on top of everything to keep things dialed in.

They still sell T5's? You're kidding! I've been out of the hobby for years and with LED's, I haven't seen T5's in years. 👍

SCA aquaruums are really affordable. That 120 gallon cost about or less then a red sea reefer 250. Its sad that world wide corals are always gate keeping. Trying to sell overpriced corals and equipment. Keeping low income hobbyist out of the hobby
