Dear brother Bobby, I am a Muslim living in Jerusalem, and I know both Arabic and Hebrew. Hag in Hebrew is same as Hajj in Arabic. It is the translations of the bible into Greek and English and other languages that distorted the meaning. Sometimes it is translated into pilgrimage, other times into a feast and so on.

@@katyana92 Not really, to him, he's bombarded with so many religions, that Islam sort of is a needle in a haysack. He already acknowledges that Allah is one and he also acknowledges that Muhammed (PBUH) as the messenger and prophet of Allah. That makes him a muslim-ish also, he just needs to say the shahada and he'll be %100 muslim in'sha Allah.

I live in USA, born as a Muslim however when I was young (20) become an atheist. After September 11, 2001. The Islamophobia propaganda made me understand Islam better. You are right the Islamophobia promote Islam better. Which made me to believe guidance come from anywhere as long as you are seeking the “Truth”. My three boys, some time questioning very same ideology which lead them for atheism. I’m using your KZread videos as an answer to most of their questions and concerns. May Allah reward you. To add, Eid Al Adha is where we sacrifice animals (Typically Goats and Cows (can also do camels)) and use the meat and either donate and give it to the poor and also use it for festival dinner.

Islam is false, because there is no continuity in Islam.. where is priesthood, liturgy, temple, feasts, Levitical ceremonies, holy water, incense, altar, sacrifice, where are all these things in Islam when Muslims believe that Torah was given by God.. whoever says that he does not know anything about the Torah, because 70% of the Torah talk about these things which is totally abrogated or lost meaninglessly in Islam

Orthodox Christianity has the strongest continuity, not Roman Catholics or Protestants, but Orthodoxy. Islam recognizes Torah (5 books- Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy), but Islam is just completely out of continuity with the law and prophets, especially in terms of what worship is and how It's done.. this is not everything, but *I WILL GIVE JUST SOME EXAMPLES:* *1) FEASTS AND FESTIVALS* let's start with the annual feast days which were part of the liturgical cycle: A) (Leviticus 23:1-4 ; Exodus 20:8-11) - the Sabbath is still honored in the church through the relaxing of fasting rules and increasing spiritual contemplation. the lord's day, the day of resurrection began also being observed in the new covenant, because Christ freed us on that day.. according to Acts 20:7 and 1 Corinthians 16:2, Christians in the new covenant would worship at the temple on Saturday then in the evening which heralded the start of Sunday they would break bread. church still follows this manner of reckoning liturgical time where the next day starts in the evening. overtime when the temple was destroyed worship was fully moved to first day of the week B) Passover (Leviticus 23:5-8) was also major feast and has been transformed into Easter in the new covenant. according to 1 Corinthians 5:7-8, It says: "Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed *CHRIST, OUR PASSOVER,* was sacrificed for us. *Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.* C) Pentecost (Leviticus 23:15-21, Acts 2)was a major Jewish feast which has been retained in the new covenant, It was and is still celebrated seven weeks after Passover or Easter.. the Israelites celebrated Pentecost because of harvest of first fruits and in the new covenant we celebrate the descent of Holy Spirit in Acts 2 on the day of Pentecost who harvested thousands of souls after Christ ascended into heaven as first fruits.. *do you see how God desires his people to celebrate things for particular reasons on particular days?* *2) THE PRIESTHOOD* A) let's start with 1 Peter 2:9 *"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people,* that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light"; THIS CONCEPT WAS PREFIGURED IN EXODUS 19:6 -- *"And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’* These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.” In the new covenant Christ is the perfect high priest.. B) what about laying on of hands to confer blessing of authority? we see that in Torah (Numbers 27:18-23 ; Deuteronomy 34:9) and we see in 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6 and Acts 13:2-3 as well.. let's see for example, Acts 13:2-3 - "As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” *Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away".* C) we also see the whole ritual for consecrating a *priest, altar and utensils* for use in service (Exodus 40:7-14).. the consecration of altars in the Orthodox church continues to follow similar ritual customs (Exodus 40:7-14) *3) JEWISH RITUAL ELEMENTS* A) the involvement of the laity in the worship and sacrificial is also important to note (Leviticus 1:4), *so priests refer to the sacrifice as our sacrifice* B) altar on earth represents altar in heaven (Leviticus 3:8).. the altar itself is an essential ritual element which has been retained, altar on earth is created representation of altar in heaven.. Hebrews 9:11-28 explains the typology.. *we don't have an animal sacrifice, because animal sacrifice was pointing to sacrifice of Christ, but we still have sacrifice (not animal)* C) the use of oil and incense has also been carried over and typify the work of Holy Spirit (Leviticus 2:1 ; Psalms 141 ; Exodus 25:6 ; Exodus 35:28).. In the new covenant, all Christians are anointed with oil as the seal of the Holy Spirit.. Church also has retained incense in liturgical worship.. D) ritual hand washing to symbolize purity.. this is an element which has been retained (Exodus 30:17-21), this is before the minister tends to the eucharistic E) priestly blessing with hand (Leviticus 9:22).. F) disposing of holy things by immolation/burning (Leviticus 7:16-18).. the church also follows this same activity *4) CHURCH STRUCTURE* A) If you look behinf the altar we can see two images of golden cherubim on other sides of the altar, whereas previously the wings of the cherubim would have faced one another to veil of presence of God behind the mercy seat (Exodus 25:18-20), now they are apart and revealed God incarnate behind the altar on the cross.. B) seven candle lampstand (Exodus 25:31-40) has been retained in the sanctuary representing seven spirits/powers of God animal sacrifice were over and the ark of the covenant has been fulfilled. in the sanctuary altar represents ark of the covenant.. let's mention what is placed on the altar and inside the sanctuary C) in the center there is Gospel - analogue to ten commandments/Testimony which was stored in the ark of the covenant (Exodus 31:18 ; Exodus 40:20) D) in the center of the altar there is also the tabernacle which mirrors jar of manna which was also placed in the ark of covenant (Exodus 16:32-33)... in the Gospel of John, Christ describes his own flesh as being the manna which his followers will consume.. the eucharist is stored inside the tabernacle.. *5) CLERICAL VESTMENTS* specific clerical vestments have also been retained to some degree in the church.. A) Ephod (Exodus 28:6-8 ; Psalm 132:9 ; Psalm 32:11) B) breastplate analogy (Exodus 28:15-25 ; Psalm 44 ; Psalm 51 C) bishops belt is analogy of girdle (Exodus 28:39-40 ; Psalms 18:33) D) Analog of turban, turban - (Exodus 28:36-38 ; Psalm 21:3) E) Censer (Leviticus 16:12)

This made me cry like a baby and thanking Allah (SWT) for giving me islam and prayed for all christians and jews and every human to ponder on what is the truth. Don’t ruin the eternity in hell as paradise is also eternal with pure enjoyments above that seeing your lord Allah 😭 💗

Assalamu Alaikum Bobby. regarding your question about hajj & eid ul-fitr, In Islam, we have 2 celebration (Eid), Eid ul-fitr, and Eid ul-Adha. *Eid ul-Fitr* is the celebration which is marks the end of ramadhan (30 days of fasting). It is a celebration of Allah (SWT) giving you the strength to get through the Ramadan fast. Ramadhan take place during the *9th month* of Islamic (lunar) calendar. While *Eid ul-Adha* are celebration Following the *Hajj pilgrimage* , and take place during *12th* month of Islamic (lunar) calendar. Eid ul-Adha is a time to revere the devotion of the *Prophet Ibrahim (AS)* when he demonstrated his obedience through his preparation to sacrifice his son, *Ismail* , for Allah (SWT). hope this answer your question brother.

All prophets are basically practicing Islam (submission to one god, Allah tabarakallahu ta’ala) and prophet Muhammad shallahu alahi wassalam as the last prophet is on duty for all mankind to complete the submission to Allah tabarakallahu ta’ala. Hajj consists of several stages that take place on several days. The main day is the day of Arafa (يوم عرفة - Arafa is a mountain in Makkah). The day of Arafa is followed by the day of Alnahr (يوم النحر - alnahr means slaughtering). For people who are not performing Hajj, the day of alnahr is the first day of Eid Al-Adh-ha. * a side note: on the day of Arafa surah 5-3 was revealed. Surah 5-3 translates to: (This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion).

​@@dgrdst5810 The order of verses of the Quraan is revealed by Allah to the messenger. The messenger would instruct the scribes to put the verse in its place after reciting it to them.

Salam alaykom SubhanAllah - yes Bobby, there are two eids, one is after Ramadan which is Eid al Fitr (Eid for breaking fast) and Hajj is performed approximately 2 months and 10 days after Ramadan. Eid al Adha is the Eid of Sacrifice which is held during Hajj Bobby may Allah guide you closer to Him

Nice one, Bobby. Yes, Eid al Adha is always coinciding with Hajj (the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, more precisely). Many times Jews will say something from their own teaching tradition, not knowing that they are making good arguments for Islam (or spreading dawah, as Bobby pointed out :) )

Yes brother, Eid is on hajj. The pilgrims go to Mecca and the ones who didn’t preform the pilgrimage celebrate the Eid at home. We have another Eid which is after ramdan but the big one is the one during hajj.

He said Hagg means holiday or going around in circles. Eid Adha is the holiday at the end of Hajj, circling the Qabah is part of the Hajj. Hajj is not a holiday, it s pillar of Islam.
