Rule Of thumb: don’t hire pool companies to pour concrete , hire concrete companies to do your concrete around the pool . @@gw62112009 the simple answer is because this is what the client wanted. Yes, we could’ve gone higher up the hill and no it wouldn’t of been significantly more expensive but at the end of the day if the client doesn’t want to pay for it, we don’t do it. Also, the higher you go the faster you were going to come out the bottom of that slide and this pool isn’t very wide where the slide enters the pool so we didn’t want to allow people to be entering the pool at a rate that could cause them harm. if the pool was larger or if the slide was not a straight shot then I would talk with them about going higher up the hill. At the end of the day this is the design the client was looking for so that’s what we went with, that is our largest motivator

It’s recycled over and over again and you can fill your pool for a flat fee from a pool water company that delivers pool water: fill it up with your water hose and many other methods but you usually only fill the pool up once every five years!!!! But the water is recycled throughout the many things ( pool, slide, water features) it’s the electricity that’s going to kill you from constantly having the water circulated throughout the pool !!!!!

This is a wayyyy over inflated price for all that work , 165k here in Canada would get you a backyard oasis . Not just an average sized inground pool and some fountains with cement work ... this work here could have been done for 80k easily . This poor schmuck got rinsed lmao . 165k? That’s half the cost of a really nice home WITH an inground pool included in Phoenix would be ... yikes . Make sure to shop around when getting quotes for landscaping. Lots of companies out here gouging people . Nasty .

Very nice, but that price is not realistic. I’m having a beautiful 35x18 kidney shape pool, jacuzzi, stamped concrete and a few extras. In the Southern California area. ($$$). Cheers !

As a pool builder in southeast Texas, I'll be the first to point out there's a large gap between your opinion and reality. Depending on equipment specifics and extras, the pool/spa combo alone (without the fire pit, retaining wall, slide and waterfall) would be $90-$100k where I'm at. Full project likely $135k. if he's in Cali $165k is justified.

The $165k included lowering half the yards grade by two feet, the pool, the hot tube, the custom slide, the custom rock water feature, the retaining wall, a fire pit, seat walls, stone for the wall, cast stone pool coping and wall caps, stamped and stained concrete, land scaping, custom lighting, etc......... $165k well spent
