Seems like a pretty good table. It's definitely better than the Bonzini table. But thats a pretty low bar. I don't really dig the colors very much though.

@@svenmaurer2064 I'm trying to make sure I understand what you're saying......Are you saying that these tables are "senseless Tornado copies", because they fall short of meeting the high quality of a tornado? Or are you saying that Tornado tables themselves and the tables copying them, are of poor quality, and thus not needed in Germany? Just want to make sure Im on the same page.

Ich wollte mir einen Kicker kaufen. Der Guardian wäre meine erste Wahl gewesen. Wenn der aber auch so schlecht ist wie diese Tonaufnahme dann überlege ich es mir doch nochmal.

excellent player but Johannes' defense when Ryan had the ball on his 2 was terrible, too static

YES, it could be better. Considering the fact that I spend more time building foosball tables than playing them, it's not so bad to have finished 2nd + 5th in this tournament ;-)

Once again Ryan Moore demonstrates how he and Tony Spredeman have ruined foosball for everyone else. Watching matches that do not have one or both of them playing, can be described simply as BORING. Both of them play at such a high level of absolute greatness that others can only dream about reaching at the moment. They are just unbelievably talented. Ryan's shooting from the goalie will be that of legendary status by the time he has retired from the game. (Hell, its already legendary status!!) Now I might be overstating this slightly. There are other great players that are still entertaining to watch. Hell this guy Kirsch appears to be pretty damn good himself. And there are others. But none quite match what Moore can bring. Nor Spredeman who I guess was not able to come to this tournament.

JA. Sr. The high level statement was not referring to Kirsch. That part was referring to Ryan Moore and Tony Spredeman. Now I haven't seen Kirsch play any more than what Ive seen on this video. Which going against one of the greatest players in the world, I thought he did OK. I certainly wouldn't say he stinks. After all, he has obviously made it to the quarter finals in open singles. And he finished 2nd in open doubles. Now he may stink when you compare him to Ryan Moore. But under that criteria, the vast majority of the foosball players stink.

JA. Sr. Yes I guess we will have to disagree. However, I feel I must point out once again the fact that Kirsch made it to the quarter final in singles and he and his partner placed 2nd in open doubles. And apparently if you heard, he has some direct connection with the designing of this new Guardian table. So I'm gonna guess he has given foosball more than just a cursory glance. Is there room for improvement? Of course there is. Who couldn't stand to improve their game in one area or the next? I'm simply trying to point out that your original assessment that he "stinks" at playing foosball is more than just a little unfair. Is there some other video you are basing your opinion on? Because from what I see here on this video is that he certainly has the tools and shots to be successful. He has a pretty smooth pass and good 5 bar control. He does do that front pin shot like Collignon, which I'm not much on but its certainly popular on the European side of foosball. And he shoots it well. Where he could use improvement is with his mental game. But that goes for just about anyone. And keeping your head against Ryan Moore is something very few players are able to accomplish.

@JA.Sr. oh man, look at this guy having no clue what he talks about. Would like to see you at the table, I bet the stinking kid Kirsch is able to beat you in every game. So easy to hide behind the screen and judge other people.

@jeremybr2020 He has not only some connection - he is the one that designed the table and hosted the event. Inviting international players to China to open the production side. Thanks for bringing up some good points and not talking trash like JA. Sr. :-)

JA. Sr. Maybe Loretta Matzke was a little harsh towards you. But I could easily say the same about you towards Kirsch. And no one said that Kirsch had a perfect game. You mentioned the semi final match, in which the goalie Ferreira got on a role. I'm a bit confused on why you think it takes a seasoned eye to notice what you call "finer points". What finer points? Some of the better players that Luxembourg has to offer, hits several shots from the goalie.... ??? This is not exactly a mystery that takes a sharp eye. Remind me again.....who won that match? Listen, having flaws in your game or needing to improve in some area does not always translate to "He stinks." There's a huge difference there. If you're half the player that you claim to be then Im not sure why you can't simply admit that perhaps saying "He stinks" wasn't the best way to describe Kirsch's game. I don't know you, but if you have been playing for as long as you seem to imply, then there is a good chance we have been in some of the same tournaments, especially if you played the World champions in DFW during the mid and late 90's. But if you have played those players that you listed then you should have acquired a certain level of respect for some of the greats that have graced the foosball tables over the years. Yet you seem to have lost that respect during the course of this conversation. And Kirsch may not be one of the greats, at least certainly not yet. But he just designed a brand new table. Something that in my opinion, the European tour desperately needs. Tables like the Bonzini are ridiculously bad. So try and show a little respect to those who are trying to make a difference to table soccer and those who play it. Oh, and there's no shame in not getting past the great Terry Moore (assuming thats who you were referring to.) The man who many call the "Father of the snake shot". Though Terry didn't actually invent the shot, he is pretty much responsible for bringing to the game what is now the most popular shot among players. Back in the day, most players didn't have a clue how to block that shot. And some still don't.
