@@natalieengleman2753 the only reason I say probably is because I can't bring myself to rank my favourite artists - they're too diverse, first of all. Plus, it feels wrong saying things like "SamuraiGuitarist is worse than Mary Spender" I can't just rank all my favourites only to discover that an artist I still really adore is in spot 57... that's all :) oh, and also - there's a difference between being skilled and being liked... XD

@@najrenchelf2751 Yeah okay. Yeah I know there's a difference between being skilled and being liked but I was just saying skilled musicians are generally well liked because of their skill. But I see you can like a musician more because of their personality and less because of their skill
Another thumbs up for a Mary/Reina del Cid collaboration!!!!

Don't forget Toni Lindgren! What a truly great GP!! None better.
Wow what a cool surprise. Thank you Mary! Keep up the excellent work your channel is brilliant.
I love Reina del Cid and would love to see a collab with you, Reina, and Toni.
LOVE Reina Del Cid, Toni Lindgren!!! Also "The Other Favorites" Josh Turner & Carson McKee! I saw them play together in Seattle back in July 2019! They are all just amazing! Everyone should Check them out for sure!
I've actually followed Reina del Cid on KZread for years. I discovered Josh through a collaboration she did with him a year or so ago (and of course they've been on tour together). Then I saw the collaboration you did with Josh and now of course full circle back to Reina del Cid. Keep up the good work and best wishes for the New Year.
Hi Mary!! Thank you for such kind words, and for putting this video together. I hope to meet you someday soon!! ❤ Happy Holidays 🎄
Discovered Reina del Cid about 6 months ago. Very impressive.
I'm a drummer for 25 years and follow Mary, Rhett and Rick Beato. Guitar people so good it doesn't matter what instrument they play. Great creators and musically interesting. Thank you Mary!! Top discovery of 2019 for me. Happy Christmas from Canada.
I saw Reina del Cid`s show in Toronto last month, and upon purchasing her merch I mentioned about you. I really want to see that collaboration!

Saw her in Boston last month too.... AWESOME! Shitty venue...great show. THEY deserve MUCH better
Thanks Mary some new channels for me to add. As a keen muscian i think Rick Beato has been one of the most valuable subs i made on youtube.
Super thankful for all the tipps, will check them out 👍
I discovered both you a Reina DEL Cid at the same time. Both of you make me feel like you've opened my window of creativity, letting the sun and fresh air back into music. You two collaborating together would be an epic match. Make it happen.
Classy video from a classy talented musician..... Nice tip of the hat to other talented creators.... Thank you for being you....!!!!!
Your recommendations are taken with a lot of respect. I will make the time to visit and soak in them all. Some I already enjoy. Thank you.
Thank you for your recommendations. So groovy. Happy New Year!
Thank you for work this year enjoyed and learnt a lot from you. happy successful new year.
Hope you have a great Christmas Mary and thank you for all the wonderful videos this year xxx
Merry Christmas Mary.
I love that your reaction to getting on that list was to be like "Hey, check out these awesome people!" and so I shall. The thing I love most about the people I watch often - especially you and Warren Huart - is that you're incredibly inspirational and a positive influence in general. Thank you.
Cheery, articulate, thoughtful, generous - qualities I've come to associate with your KZread work, Mary. I'll miss Tuesday Talks, but I'm a subscriber, so I hope you'll still pop up on my screen in new situations with some frequency. Happy 2020!
Saw Reina Del Cid in Madison, WI. I'm a huge fan girl. Love her stuff so damn much. :)
You're a class act Mary. I always enjoy your videos. Here's hoping 2020 is your best year ever
Thank you, and this is so full of grace, bless you mother Mary! 😎
Hello Mary. I just want to say thank you for the work you do and the inspiration you give to other artists. Being at least a few decades older than you, and probably of much of your typical fan base, I am delighted to have found your channel and to be able to tell others about it. I hear a lot of people in my age group constantly complaining that "there's no good new music out there anymore. It's all junk!". My response is that they aren't listening to the right artists, or looking in the right places. The list of musicians you have provided here is a perfect example of what I mean. Please keep the great videos and wonderful music coming. Happy New Year!
Hey, Merry Christmas to all the music people on this commenting thing, and thanks to Mary for being an authentic voice/musician - 2020 here we go.
Everything you do is totally appreciated from all of us. Happy Christmas ❤️
I’m completely on board with recognizing artists for “putting in the work.” Well put.
Merry Christmas, Mary.
This is KZread community at its best! I love that the music scene is so real and untainted.
What about Rob Scallon? Amazing, unique musician/talent!
I have loved your music, personality and talent. Merry Christmas
Frohe Weihnachten Mary🤗
Wishing you Mary a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Much Love 💕
Merry Christmas Mary! Have an awesome holiday and much success to you in the new year.
Great, again.its the energy.
Great video. I love this you tube music community, can't wait for 2020.
I think it is so cool how you promote other arts and encourage collaboration. I started following Reina del Cid and Toni Lingren, who collaborated with Josh Turner and Carson McKee, then Josh collaborated with you. Thank you for sharing and spreading your love for music!

Josh is spectacular.
Merry Christmas Mary!! Love your channel!! Very surprised you did not mention rick beato one of Rhetts friends!!
Three channels I never miss watching are Rick Beato, Ben Eller and David Brewster (Late Night Lessons).
Just a couple: Reinhardt Buhr, Pomplamoose Music, The Petersens, Walk off the Earth, Lower Standards, Tim Purcell and Foxes and Fossils. Some of these you may have turned me onto. I really enjoy your channel.
You have the smoothest, silkiest voice. I would happily listen to you read the phone book.
Great list, more people to check out.
Reina and Toni ROCK!!!
Yes to more motivational ideas. What do you do when you don't feel like touching your guitar? How do you get it back? Love what you do. Cheers from Canada.
Nice! I watch Brett via his friend Rick Beato. I’m a very beginner guitar player so he helps me understand theory a lot better.
thank you mary for your incredible talent, your voice, your smile and your pretty dimples, your way so light and precise to play on your Vigier and finally your way of pronouncing Vigier. I stumbled upon Leo's video (sultans of swing) and became a fan. By chance, I came across the Sunday videos of Reina, then Josh and finally your collaboration with Josh. Thanks to you, and to the other young youtuber talents. I hope to see you in France or in Belgium in 2020. Best wishes
Sorry to see Tuesday Talks go, looking forward to the next project. Lone Wolf is spectacular. Thanks for the rabbit holes on other artists. You are the best Mary! Happy holidays!
It’s nice to see bigger KZreadrs be fan girls, makes me feel like less of a nerd. Happy holidays xx
merry Christmas , Mary! :D.
Great list. Totally agree with you on Rhett also would add Paul David’s channel. You three cover everything; song writing, gigging and tuition. Superb content in 2019. Looking forward to more insights in 2020. Go for it, Mary.
A few personal youtube favorites: - Larkin Poe, their original songs are great, their "tip o' the hat" series of covers are outstanding - Chris Buck (learned about him through That Pedal Show), a really awesome guitar player with such a tasteful tone Thanks so much for what you do Mary!
Merry Christmas Mary :)
One thing KZread has done for me, is it made me realize that the musicians that make it were just lucky in some way. B/C there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of amateur guitarist on YT that just smoke. Beyond talented. Puts me in my place and keeps me humble that's for sure.
Thank you Mary. ⚓️
You’re a class act, Mary Spender. The 💓 💓 inserts was a nice touch. The gear videos don’t interest me but everything else is fascinating.
Nice Work :)
One I really enjoy, Dave Simpson, Merry Christmas to all!!!
The person I haven't seen you do anything with is Rick Beato -- he's wotked with Nahre, Rhett and Adam....and I really thought that you would have done something with him by this point.

MARY , a Merry christmas to you and family and a happy new great new video music 2020 year , greetings from hans of the dutch lowlands nl 👍👌
Mary, Thank you -- I think. I only just recently discovered your work on KZread, via your collaboration with Josh Turner Guitar, whom I had only discovered a short time earlier while searching for a song by Josh Turner (Voice). All while I was struggling to limit, or even reduce, the amount of time I spend on KZread with my addiction to hearing all the old songs that take me back to other times. And now, this new list... I guess it is good to keep finding new sounds to listen to, because some day these days will become "those (were the) days". (Gene Raskin, Mary Hopkin) There just is not enough time to keep up with you all -- nor enough words to express my awe and appreciation for what you bring to the world.
Her new weekly show will be called, 'Straturday Stalks", and be completely about John Mayer.
Great video! A bit sad to see chewsday tawks go, but soooo excited to see what happens on this channel in the coming year! All great channels you've suggested!
Thank you Mary we all love you from the Appalachian Mountains Merry Christmas
Thank you! I think highly your recommendations so I will subscribe to the ones I don't already! Merry Christmas! ❤️
You earned it Mary. Good luck in 2020.
So happy that Josh, Carson, Reina and Toni made the list!!! 😊😊😊
Dear Mary - You make beautiful music, and beautiful vids, and you look SO nice while doing it!!! I'll miss your Tuesday Talks, but I know things change and it's time to evolve. Best in the new year, and COME BACK TO CHICAGO!! The weather's lovely!!
So glad you talked about Ross Campbell ..
Mary, you are awesome :-)
Great list. Alice Phoebe Lou is worth checking out (if you haven't already)
love you mary ! and Tuesday Talks.
Many thanks Mary for sharing your talent, thoughts, insights, humor, creativity and your musical journey. If you ever make here to Nashville we all hope to meet you and personally say hello. Chris & Shawna and the rest of Blue Crossroads.
What can you say about Rhett? Well... he’ll let you do your wash when ya visit! Lol. Great post Miss Mary... good looking out for your peers.
I love to hear and see you
Mary, I think you and Reina have much in common as very pure spirits and songwriters of intensely intimate work. I have no use for people who think braying ugliness is art. I saw the work both of you did with Josh Turner this year and hoped it would lead to a connection. Thank you for a great year.
Thanks Leo (frog leap) to get me here. mary you've opened my eyes to new music, thanks
Hi Mary...I really enjoyed Joe Var Veri's covers. Alot of Elvis but Polk Salad Annie was great. Also All I Need Is the Air That I Breathe, and Crunchy Granola Suite are my favorites. Man he knows how to play that black Maton!
Love Reina Del Cid and Josh Turner and Toni and Carson that play with them. Discovered you because of them. You are great too. Would be great if you could tour with them and come to NJ or NY.
Knew about Rachel, Reina, and Nahre already. Thanks for the others, Mary. Edit: Oh, Nahre also has her Sound Field channel which is associated with PBS Digital Studios. She co-hosts with a percussionist, LA Buckner. Good stuff.
Man if you ever see Dom Pipkin playing around London you should totally go along. He does a great gig
I am sad Tuesday Talks is ending, but an obvious stepping stone which lead you to your successes so far. This is the beginning of a new era for you. I am looking forward to the new merchandise. My daughter and I admire your songwriting and guitar playing. I'm trying to learn your percussive technique along with everything else my 🎸 teacher brings my way. All the best to you and your family and friends. Have a 🥳 Happy New Year!
Emil Ernebro. Such a fantastic finger-style player that has collaborated with Tommy Emmanuel. He's crazy good!! What a great video Mary!! Thank you.
Going on to bigger and better things
The Running Mates and Steve 'n' Seagulls are two groups I'd recommend. They're both fab but in very different ways
Love your channel! If you haven't seen Sina Drums she is amazing. She does a lot of colabs and originals as well. The other one I really enjoy is Jadyn Rylee another amazing young artist. Jadyn and Sina did a cover of Sound of Silence that is one of my favorites on YT If you would like the links I can get them
Love your stuff Mary!! Was sad to see Leo M, didnt make your list. 😞
Gotta put in my 2 cents... Look for Sadie Johnson and Sad Sam Blues Jam. So much love for the blues, so much energy and fun and style in what they do. I don't worry about the future of music when I see their videos. Thanks for sharing some new talent!
Excellent video, thank you. Why would anyone "dislike" this?
All the best to you too 🤙🏻 On the creative video front Barnaby Dixon does some crazy funny puppet videos, well shot and imaginative
I can recommend Tiffany Poon on KZread. Classical pianist, vlogs her practice days & preps for performance...Quirky, good editing vlogs....She's helped by Steinway pianos so there's some insider footage about them too...
Молодец! У тебя всё получится, верь в себя и иди за своей мечтой. Удачи и снаступающими праздниками!
The Wind Cries Mary... Maybe some slide from you... Rock on in 2020
Pete Johns is a great singer songwriter who also does many videos on working with GarageBand on iOS
