    Planes propellers are matching the cameras frame rate so it’s spinning a lot faster than it seems. It’s also looks like he’s taking off in a 80 knot head wind, thus the 15 foot take off.

    These planes don't really need runways , about 5 meters. You'll see a few of these in the outback .

    Sometimes the frame rate vs rpm will sync up in a way that makes it look like the prop is spinning backwards. As they say, looks can be deceiving.

    yep..airspeed for takeoff..not ground speed..Ever see those lightened Cub bush planes do their stuff...big ole balloon tires and a stripped down airframe ...then there's the Draco....😲

    I remember watching the Maule M-5 ads showing the aircraft flying out of the hanger. The Christen Husky could certainly do that, too. It's a tandem two-seater rather than four like the Maule.

    I was OK with that one. The one thing that still gets me is when a video quickly jumps to someone leaping out of an aircraft. I feel a moment of anxiety sweep over me, but it's gone very quickly, and I can watch a long free fall.

    Looked like a Katydid. Some say it is a grasshopper but it's an entirely different species. Some people eat them.

    The shutter speed on the camera was the same as the spinning propeller so it makes it look like it is not moving when in fact it is spinning very fast.

    It has to do with the capture speed of the video cámara in sink to the propeller of the plane, also the pilot applied the brake to the plane in relation to the tail elevators…. Excelente take.

    The plane is forced lift... headwinds, full power, requires way less room... the prop is just an illusion of frame/shutter rate vs capture rate.

    perhaps the village does not want it to feel comfy in that area and move.. I am not for people throwing rocks at animals in general, but when you need to get to the water, it is nice to know that it is fairly safe, so in this case.. I am glad they threw rocks, rather than just having it killed.

    The planes propeller speed is the same as the cameras shutter speed. Happens a lot with helicopters rotors too!

    The propeller is moving at propeller speed, looking slow is an optical illusion. The airplane is one of the famous bush planes in Alaska, super light, they wait for the head wind to pick up, and volila, its in the air! an amazing demostration indeed!

    Short field take off into a head wind....brakes...full throttle and rotate (lift off) at MCA (minimum controllable airspeed)

    It’s a STOL (Small Take off and Landing) plane it require less amount of runway also there was a bit of strong wind which helped to fly such a light aircraft.
