I can honestly say that I've never seen a clip that gave me such bad anxiety as that clip where they loaded the truck on the boat. I was literally hollering out loud to stop sitting on the damn boards! Lol. they should have had their ducks in a row before he even got off the dock

I was thinking that considering the location the vehicle is way out of place. If there is no proper ramp to get it onto the boat then people there do not see that type of vehicle.. ever. It's full on North America urban cowboy stuff.

If it was bamboo then it's likely fine. Bamboo is used over steel in scaffolding in many parts of Asia because it's extremely strong, with a high tensile and compressive strength, and plentiful. If regular wood, then yeah, nuts.

@4:00 ship sinking was intentional, I think. Divers are already standing by, and some are chanting for it to remain standing when it hits bottom. It'll become an artificial reef with a swim through.

Really? We dove the Kittiwake it was awesome! While watching this my husband said it was the Kittiwake but I didn't think so... wow!

@@lalanigibson4517 Yup! Worked there as a DM/instructor for 6 1/2 years and they went and sank it three months after we left!! We dived on it in 2014 when we went back though!

@@ranman5501 yes when we dove it it was pretty much up right-leaning just a little bit but one of the most awesome Dives we've ever been on! Since then with the hurricane it is now on its starboard side.

Ship rips off the side of the building and is obviously going to crash the dock, but the 2 ladies decide it's more important to finish their coffee than move out of the way. Too funny

A little patience, tapping the tail to get it to leave/unwind on its own, no problem. I've had similar experiences with pythons, though the frameworks were tree roots or furniture.

Boat sinking vid looks like it was purposeful if pay attention there are onlookers n audio hoping it's going straight down as in provide artificial reef n fish habitat plus a scuba diver spot

14:45, thats the Benson Ford Shiphouse. It is the pilot house and forward cabins of a former frieghter. It's located on South Bass Island, Ohio, Lake Erie. It is used as a summer home. And the video of it was likely taken from the Jet Express. (I live right by it)

Thanks, Just couldn't remember, been so many years...(I was thinking Devils Lake in Michigan, also a regular summer haunt) Put in Bay!, Cedar Point, Kelly's Island, Wineries, Millers Ferry, South Bass, Middle Bass, Blue Hole, Oak Harbor, Marblehead lighthouse, Catawba, Summer time in Northern Ohio! I do miss Lake Erie in the summertime! (been in Texas for 22 years)

Someone once caught a copter taking off where the frame rate exactly matched the rotation rate of the rotor. It looked like the copter was lifting off the ground with the rotor stopped as if it were a hot air balloon taking off.

14:40 is where the large boat shown in the thumbnail appears. It's up among the trees and turns out it's actually a house! Surprise! 🎊

That “bag moth” is actually a Caddis fly larva, which is aquatic insect, which is the model for a lot of dry fishing flies… Yes, they build little shelters for themselves, out of sticks, stones and other detritus, bound together with silk, species specific (each species builds a different shelter), which help protect them from predation. The larvae live underwater over winter (where they do all of their feeding), and emerge into the air (where they do all of their breeding) as flying adults in Spring. Everybody has seen them, even if they didn’t know what they were.

That's actually incorrect..I've seen plenty of caddis homes in water..tied a ton of caddis flies....dry and nymph..none walking on land though..turns out this is a relative of the moth..a lepidotera where caddis are trichoptera...

the larva with little rock sleeping bags are called helgramites, and those are not what is shown in this video

@@fucksusanwojcicki Nope...the ones that live underwater are Caddis larva....Helgramites are a Dobson fly larva..they are big and ugly and look nothing like a Caddis fly...

lol 14:50 is on South Bass Island, Ohio. It is owned by the Kasper family who have car dealerships in Sandusky. It is the Benson Ford. The "K" at the top is for the Kasper name. I grew up in Sandusky (my family ancestors used to own a garden nursery and Christmas store.....which originated on land now owned by NASA Plumbrook station).

I was feeling great, watching this video compilation, until you showed the skydiving clips which made me sick. Vertigo isn't a fun condition to have, but most of the time, I'm not looking down from way up high. Still, a thumbs up for the ice cave, although I'm also claustrophobic.

That boat at around the 3:26 mark was deliberately sunk to create a reef and scuba diving attraction. Happens often with decommissioned ships and boats.

There is another one near Detour Village, the bridge and part on the hull of the steamer John W. Boardman on Lake Huron.

if its your first time on that lake in a small boat during a heavy fog and that ship comes into view. you would think its gonna run you.
