Considering she is a lefty spiking on the left side. So hard to read her spikes.

She deserved to be the best OH

Happy to say, "I told you so". After her first CVL season as a starter for her Tianjin club in 2017-18 as a 17-year-old - dominating the CVL as a hitter, outplaying Korean superstar Kim Yeon-koung in the finals to win the championship for her club, and setting many CVL records, I pegged Li as the next superstar for China, after Zhu Ting and Zhang Changning. Unable to switch to opposite to play on the same court as China’s, and the world’s then, top two outside hitters, Li was relegated to be a bench warmer and cheerleader as the third outside hitter during international competition. It was only after injuries to/semi-retirement of Zhu and Zhang that Li was able to emerge as China’s prime hitter. She had critics/haters galore after her break-out CVL season who doubted her abilities to become an international star - alleged lack of athletic ability, can’t jump, too slow afoot, etc. But she has great volleyball IQ, which more than makes up for any physical deficiencies. Now, she can shut her them up and enjoy the last laugh!
