I loved that talking minifigure at the beginning!

This video is so high quality, I love the background and the detail the video goes into about the model. The video production is also top-notch, from the audio and script to the videography.

That's fantastic! I hope your experience with it will be just as enjoyable as mine. It truly is an incredible set.

So far I enjoy the set's wooden buildings, which are small, but highly detailed. I also like the somewhat realistic colder look. The minifigures are great, with enough accessories. The only thing I can think of what is missing is some animals, fishing gear or traps and maybe a boat. The first thing I started planning to add to this was exactly that; My boat is almost finished now, I just need a few more pieces. I also added quite a few more vikings to crew the boat and a husky to act as a companion and tracking hound. The best part about this set is, that it is good value for it's price. It feels really complete and detailed, especially compared to other LEGO sets that are sometimes a lot more expensive.

You're absolutely correct about the value for the price. I also believe the boat isn't included because there's a separate LEGO set where the boat is sold individually. It seems like LEGO is trying to encourage us to purchase both sets.

@@lukasthebuilder Makes sense. The 3in1 creator boat is not very comparable in style and doesn't fit the set well at all.

Your narration, writing, and camera shots are all spectacular! And I absolutely adore the endless void background in place of the rough-on-the-eyes infinite white. Your reviews are top-tier and really stand out from of other Lego review channels. Also, is the Lion Knight Castle in your plans for a review? I'd love to see it if it's within your time and budget. I was just thinking about Rivendell today. might make the purchase sometime next year, possibly along with some additional Lord of the Rings LEGO sets.

Great video. Appreciate your level of care and detail of your reviews. How was the building experience of this set overall? I think it looks great but my main concern is that it's pretty big length-wise, taking up alot of shelf real-estate.

Viking longhouses did not have chimneys as such. Instead they had openings under the roof ridge (ie that little raised bit in the middle above the main fireplace). These openings allowed smoke to escape naturally. (the net explains - Called "vindauga" in Old Norse, which literally translates to "wind eye," these openings eventually evolved into the English word "window.")
