Yā Habībi: the Syrians and Lebanese and the entire Levant do not know at all what it means to party: rather, they know absolutely everything about what it means to celebrate! The Haflīs will last for a straight fortnight, the 'arak and the arğīli will flow like water, and the entire Wedding Party will celebrate the matrimonial union of their beloved brother and sister whilst they all dance the Dabke in celebration of another future spate of fruitful generation multiplication, at the blessed command of the Word of the Most High God. And in two weeks, they will do it all over again. Nushkur'Allah, Yā 'Ikhwa; Y'Allah, Yā Habībi: 'Aiwa, 'Aiwa, 'Aiwa!!! 😊😊😊

When I was younger, myself & my best friend would go out every Tuesday night to a Lebanese restaurant that had live Arabic music. We would always be the first ones to start the dubke.Then we would have all the other patrons dancing. I miss going to Hafli's.i don't know what it is, but as soon as the Arabic music starts, or I hear in my home,or wherever it is playing,it gets me going. It makes me feel happy. God bless all our Lebanese brothers & sisters around the world. Keep the music playing.God Bless Lebanon!!

Just search for zaffe music or dabke , that's how I've gotten through quarantine cause I miss partying lol. Thank God my sister is getting married on Aug 8 so I can experience this again 😂

I am Lebanese and I love the Country, food ,music but most of all our traditions. My mother was a belly dancer when she was younger before she got married. She was beautiful and when I saw this video I cried, it reminded me of her. My grandparents were from Lebanon, both maternal & paternal . When I hear the music I just want to get up and dance. My sister & brother played the dirbuke( the drums).

I'm a Jamaican who's engaged and I'm actually interested in getting those drummers at our wedding! This gave me goosebumps and I'm just learning about this culture.

The bride really won my admiration. It can be easy dancing in that dress. She looked relaxed and composed.

Hello Lebanon Love the master drummer ( longest beard) he is total class and full of energy. He opening was classic. All The drummer were brilliant but for me the rthyme maker was the wind instrument player....what a fantastic rthyme setter. He led the rthyme all the way...a trend setter. I am british but love the Lebanese, the circassians, the Turkish and Moroccan cultures...these so much dignity, poise, nobility style. In comparison wedding in the west are rainy and dull.😮 CONGRATULATION to the newly wed couple...good Luck
