It's worth the sacrifice though, because you get to see HD footage (shot in 4K and downscaled ) probably never recorded before, of fire proofing taking place on a mezzanine steel structure. Here you will see John, a chap with 27 years experience in fireproofing, spray a Grace Monokote MK6 fire cement onto the underside of the steel beams in this depot building to give the structure a 1 hour fire rating . The 'fire mud' is pumped by a Putzmeister S5EV fireproofing machine to the nozzle where the mud is atomized and blasted against the steel structure.
