They will use them to defend themselves against anymore western invaders. First they removed the British invaders, then the Russian invaders and lastly the U.S invaders.

For myself, I do not believe in technology. Will, determination and belief can defeat the mightiest armies in Afghanistan. Their mountains are what crushed the strongest armies. Technology can benefit from it in flat lands.
