If you are planning on hiking the Gatlinburg or Twin Creeks Trails in the coming weeks, you will need to change your plans. The two trails are closed following some aggressive bear encounters where the animals are 'bluff charging' hikers. Park officials are saying that seeing increased bear activity this time of year is not unusual.
