Great video mate. I have also been looking at more water storage for the cruiser in preparation for a Canning Stock Route trip next year. No funny tastes in the water that you have noticed?

Thanks Nathan, you are meant to flush it out a few times before drinking but being used to Kalgoorlie water we just braved it and there was no weird taste or anything like that. I did use the filter but only to fill it up not when I transferred it 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

@@DucruznOZ Haha, I guess us Kalgoorlians have probably had much worse over the years.... Good to hear, I'll definitely consider something like this for my trip! Love keeping up with the travels!

We have been using a 50L bladder for years in the same position - We just use it for drinking water - only negative is going around corners when it gets lower volume you get the incoming tide followed by the outgoing tide!! 🤣😂 also remember extra weight of 100L is about 100kg!

Ha ha, yes the "slosh" is quite bad, ha ha.... 100kgs is alot, good thing we have the 4T gvm upgrade.... 🍻🍻

Hey mate, we love our bladder and have used it probably about 25 - 30 times and is still going strong..... just have to be careful to clean out the floor before putting it down/filling it as rocks will rub through eventually 👌👌

Great thinking 99 !! Can I have the name of the little pump on top of the Jerry can please !! Great to see ya got helped out of the sand on the beach 🏖

We purchased online, but it was from a place in Victoria... you would ha e to search around for portable water storage near you 👌

How many days would you get out of your tanks off grid?

Our van tanks we can get about 5-7 days depending on how frugal we are with the water... we also have 40l in jerry cans on our car and the extra 110l from the bladder we could go about 9-12 days ;)

@@jukelong3494 all good mate, very quick bird baths and once a day dishes etc.... not the most comfortable, but usually at the beach anyway so it is worth it 🍻🏝
