I’m a framer and have been for well over 30 years…..I really appreciate your attention to detail. Not to be cocky or arrogant but I consider myself one of the best framers in my area because I went to the school of hard knocks and earned my stripes. I went out and earned it. I take a lot of pride in my work in every aspect. I don’t believe in cutting corners or “it’s good enough”. Na…. I like to build it right and not take forever doing it. You are excellent at your craft my man and I appreciate watching you work and learning different tips from you. Plus you make me laugh from time to time. Thanks for taking the time to make your videos and teaching guys like me about your craft and what and how you do it. I recently did a bathroom remodel and when it came time to hang the rock (or as you say “plaster board” 😂 again I appreciated looking you up for certain tips. Thank you my brotha !! Keep up the good work and great tips for us that may be a rookie compared to you 😂. I know I enjoy learning all the time about everything from concrete to roofing to sling’n mud. Take good care my friend.

Agreed. I spent a lot of time learning from masters. I finally did my basement and it was gorgeous. Only to have to move for work to a whole new state. But that basement helped my house sell in one day. Got a top offer from the first showing. You, my friend got mad skills. I may have to do the bulkhead over my new island

Yea, that crap dries on you really fast if you are not fast enough.

You are an artist. You restore my faith that there really ARE people who take pride in the quality of their work. We see so much garbage work anymore that this is very refreshing.

I would have loved to have had a teacher like this during my apprenticeship. This kind of love for a craft is infectious.

Impressive horizons. I'm a GC and I've been in the trades 30 years. This is the second video that I've seen from this dude and I must say when it comes to hanging drywall and running mud he stands to be one of the coldest that I have seen.The man got skills. Keep doing your thing youngblood.

One of a kind? This is standard across the board in Australia. Though, he is very good at his profession.

I've been a residential remodeler since the mid '70s and have never worked with a helper. I have always managed to get the job done with creative supports such as what you have shown. Great work!

Heck yeah! I install all my upper cabinets with a 2x4 and inflatable bag shim. In my option it’s safer than a helper holding it up. And no holes from a temp cleate

I’ve never seen a mud man use a level to level his corner bead. But I have seen a lot of crooked corners. Bravo for your attention to detail and desire to make it precise. Well done.

Man, I’ve been doing this stuff for years and that is the first time I’ve seen corner bead (baguette de coin in France😂) put up with a staple gun!! A “duh” moment for me. Love your vids mate, good luck to you.

If those are normal steel staples, they will soon rust and show through - making it an absolute nightmare when the rust starts to stain through, and the complete thing will need re-doing!!!

The primer/sealer coat of paint will block anything and if there is that much moisture in your walls you've got bigger problems.

So few masters of their craft any longer. YOU are one of them!!! Your skill is a shining example of how it SHOULD be done!

Im currently mudding and taping hvac bulkheads in my master bedroom. Its my 1st time tackling corners and damn its tough. My experience makes watching your work even more impressive. Keep up the great work and videos

I’m in the states and it awesome to see a young man taking pride in what he’s doing the youth over here are so sad most of them don’t want to do anything but want a 150 thousand a year job.. We’re in big trouble

I’ve been working on my fixer upper for years. My youngest kid has spent many an evening hearing me swear and sand as the drywall has a bump or something doesn’t look right... He sends his compliments to your skill set and said your a pleasure to watch.

Great job man. I’m a retired plasterer and I can tell you were taught the right way. You use the same tools, skills and techniques as I did. Nearly makes me miss my plastering days…nearly 😂

I love watching you work - a true talent. When working with drywall & mud, I am honeset when I say that from minimal experience on my end, this is as much an art form as it is technique. Looks incredibly simple in execution, but in practice takes insane amounts of finesse.

I always enjoy watching someone else do the mud work now, especially when done with finesse.....I've done my share and learned how to do it right from a pro......I had a big job years ago and had some young guys working for me....not much experience with drywall so they decided to slap the mud on everything thick figuring they'd just sand it smooth.....I blew a gasket and they learned the hard way after spending extra time sanding it smooth.....these same guys are doing really good work for themselves today......

It's always a pleasure to watch a true professional at work.

I've found your tips on which compound to use when has actually been profoundly helpful. That seems to be one of the biggest things forgotten or missed and many just grab a bag of low dust and wonder why their stuff is peeling or cracking in a year. Thank you sir keep it coming!!!

Nice work man . I personally like using the vinyl beads for corners. They don’t get damaged or twisted like them metal ones and if a customer bumps them like they will moving in they won’t leave a dent in the corner. I still attach them the same way . With staples just to hold them in place so I can float them . Nice work man !!!! It is weird watching you measure in mm sometimes . It’s different but I’m sure you say the same about us who measure in ft .

Wasn't until you were mudding that I realized you had no intention of doing that. Can't believe how COOL that looks!
