INCOG X IWB HOLSTER - SAFARILAND x HALEY STRATEGIC PARTNERS

The INCOG X Holster presents the latest evolution in ergonomic, RDS compatible, multi positional, deep concealment IWB hybrid thermoformed holsters. Designed and built in direct collaboration with Safariland, the distinctive INCOG X enables concealed carry for a wide range of handgun fits from various carry positions. The design features passive trigger guard retention as well as adjustable ejection port retention for a finely tuned holstered fit and a smooth draw.
The latest evolution of the Incog Holster upgrades from a single clip to a series of clips that allow more adaptability to the end user while providing the original design intentions of enhanced grip acquisition, deep concealment, and reliable functionality. The clips open outward and slide down with the holster, naturally locking in place over belts (clips can accommodate most belts up to 1 3/4” wide). An actuated finger tab flexes to open, allowing quick installation or removal from belts. An improved clip strut design combines functionality with customized concealment shims that can be easily installed or removed without any tools. All INCOG X models include clip strut shims in three concealment enhancement sizes: 1/8”, 1/4", and 3/8”.
The holster body is constructed from a microfiber suede wrapped Boltaron thermoplastic, which offers a soft, sweat wicking feel against the body, exceptional impact strength, and resistance to chemicals/abrasions making it a preferred material for the most rigorous conditions.

I met the owner of Safariland, Neale Perkins back in the '80s when he lived in Monrovia, CA. He was a nice man and had a vision of where he wanted to take the company. Who would have known where military and LEO kydex retention holsters would be now.

The old incog holster is the last holster I ever bought back in 2015, it's quite literally perfect and I'd be interested to see how it's been improved on.

Same. Have a few for different guns so I was excited to get the new. I have to say the quality is great just what I would expect from Safariland but the adjustments and where the gun rides in my opinion are not as good as the old incog with two clips and the big mojo. Where I need the holster to be to get a good purchase I hit my knuckle on the clip. The passive retention was a little different and will take getting used to and the fact that there is no mention of having to twist the gun to get it out of the holster was irritating because you cannot get the pistol out otherwise.

It looks like a quality holster! The only thing that would stop me from buying one is the fact that it's not perfectly fitted for a specific gun. I carry a Glock 43X, and it says the holster will also fit a 48, which means it's going to be longer than the actual firearm. I know some people say that helps with comfort, but I don't have any problems with my G-Code Eclipse that is cut to the length of the 43X. That's the same thing that stopped me from buying a Tenicor Certum 3. If these are offered for specific firearms in the future, I'll probably get one just because it looks so well made.

I have a few of the original G-Code Incogs, which has been a go to for me for many years. I wish this new design had a full sweat guard option. A partial guard while carrying IWB during the summer months here in the south, just acts like a funnel collecting perspiration into the holster. Some videos mention the passive retention device requires the gun to be turned while drawing in order to release it. If that’s accurate, that feature should be removed, as it poses more risks for civilian EDC than rewards. I wish there were some reviews of the holster carried strong-side 3-5 o’clock rather than just AIWB.

Man I just bought one from legacy holsters it's eh. Like the suede very much. But the way the clip on the claw side its design looks like you can't upgrade them to like a discreet carry conceps low profile clips. But I do like it. Also on the website I didnt see an option to get a bigger or smaller spacer for the claw looks like they are going with a one size fits all type thing.

I’ve broken 8 or 9 belt clips which G-code replaced every time without question. My last lil patch of “tactical fuzz” wore off this spring rolling in the dirt at a class in Montana. I have an east wing hammer and the same set of pliers I’ve been using everyday for 18 years. Didn't know you changed partners. I just ordered another g-code one 3-days ago, was wondering why they didn't have an "incog" line anymore. Seems replaced with "eclipse". Ok, I don't feel this newer one is better than the older one. Least for me, to each their own. Old one is 1-clip(I like), lot less material(I like), sized to 1-specific gun custom to order(I like), the clip protrudes so the top of holster hugs your body(this newer clip is flush. I like the old clip. I assume the newer claw type system helps with this). Then older incog holster also had options for deeper concealment, longer clips with more holes. Newer one does seem to have a different kind of belt-claw, which is nicer than the older(didnt have one), but this design of it is bulky. I realize any actual improvement wont be realized unless I use the newer one. So can really just say what I liked about the original, the newer one seems to have removed everything I liked about the incog. This is personal to me. This is not a review for others. If it fits what you like, then do you!

@@spartanpatriot3163 even if we are really fair and assume $10 for kydex, $10 for the screws and belt clips and everything, $10 for your factory building and machinery plus $10 to pay your workers, the profit margins must be absurd. Or their planning and optimization is horrible and wasteful. Either way, not a great look. Squeezing the customer just because others do too, so you might as well join in, right...?

@@texasranger24 You don't know anything about the costs of R&D or the "factory building". Or the employee costs. You could just not buy it. Voting with your wallet will make you seem less bitter than talking about the business model you know nothing about.

Love Travis, but come on... Marketing got every buzz word in there 🤣. Also hope I'm wrong... If it fits 16 right then how is it ever going to hold one perfect? The exact same thing with LPVOs... There's always a sacrifice.

I'm sure the holster itself is well made and functional, but I just can't take this style of marketing seriously. The filters, the music, the buzzwords... I don't think this add was 'supposed' to be funny, but I laughed pretty hard.

Great decision to publicly reveal how you can't comprehend how a holster that holds 16 types of pistol is somehow better than a holster that holds only one model of pistol.....dang Darrel....when your other brother Darrel shows up maybe ask him how math dun work and why city folk seems to be scrunchin their faces so much when we speek without a calculater. Here's a clue...a holster that holds a gun effectively.....is kinda not the better one compared to a holster that holds sixteen different types of guns effectively....cuz like....when you have lots of guns like most gunderful people do....well now they aint gotta buy like fifteen mohr "random" holsters to fit their fifteen mohr "random" pistols....they can like save a lot of money AND enjoy being respected by their peers for being able to do math and save money and with that saved money spend it on a 17th gun and maybe batteries too for the their calculator that they actually use before speaking in those number riddles called budgets. Shooooottttttttt. City folk don't even kno how smartz the martinrps13 brothers are.

My beat up incog I purchased in 2013 ( I won’t type the price) has carried my same gen3 g19 everyday for 10 years now. My point?…..Buy quality tools that get job done from stand up companies that will support you along the way.

Be careful with all that gayness then.....you might be full on Freddie Mercury meats Barrack Obama meats Elton John if you ever learn the markup on anything imported from China, any of your sunglasses made from $2 injection molds....(literally $2 and you pay around a $100 to several hundred for a pair of sunglasses), computer games that are produced onto a DVD's that cost less than a $4 for the box, printed marketing, and DVD itself ...and etc....and you want to talk guns? Mountain bikes? (50% markup on pretty much all mountain bikes).....food? So definitely Freddy....you go crazy about a holster company marking up their product.....really want to simmer into inferno flaming gayness? Calculate the markup on ammunition sometime.....
