Anthony would make such a great character in a GTA game. I know he's done voices, but a retired rich disc jockey who wants you to run guns across the county to his compound and steal tankers of fuel for his generator would just be so on point! Picking up hot girls from the airport, killing off contractors who are taking their time building his pool, assassinating the bitch neighbour who keeps calling the cops using a gun on a drone. Get on it Rockstar.

Michael Malice was brilliant explaining anarchism! Also, I felt sad for Dave and his cologne.
Libertarian is a better movement. It is like anarchy but acknowledges that the government serves some purpose like stopping a foreign invasion which could absolutely happen. He says under Anarchy there is no President to conquer...... if only someone told the Native Americans that they had no President so they can't be conquered. No government and China will just come, take the oil wells and there won't be a thing you can do about it unless you have an actual army to stop them.

Malice seems to think that there could be society without the formations of laws that govern such a society. The earliest peoples invented law, it didn’t always come in the same shape but it always happened. As soon as you form a society, of any level, then you will naturally get the creations of rules to govern behavior. Human beings are constantly making judgements and impressions of everything, gauging their benefit or their damage. This is inescapable. Therefore it is impossible we will not want to get more of our fellow people onboard with an agreeable set of rules immediately. Culture always brings about laws. I’m anarchy, law is simply voluntary! You pick which code you would most agree with and want to benefit from. It comes with being in a community of any size whatsoever. You must build bonds of t r at therefore you will always seek to know how others ought to behave and therefore how you ought to behave.

@Burtocd

I disagree. I didn't watch the whole episode but I don't think Michael answered any of Anthony's questions very well. The issue of roads for example. Anthony asked what would happen if one community didn't want anyone else using their roads. His only response was "Why would that happen?" and compared maintenance to Amazon deliveries??? As if delivering packages is in any way comparable to maintaining a massive, labyrinthine system of roads. And what about highways? No communities to pay for that is there? I am totally on board with the fact that government makes everything more expensive, complicated, corrupt etc. etc. but there has to be better answers than what Michael gives to questions about anarchism.
Can we stop pretending Michael Malice is some kind of genius?

@Jack Mihoff No hate on your appreciation of Dave, but the reason for my post is my dislike of him. He's almost always rewording a joke someone just said to try to make it funnier, but it presents as an inability to come up with something new. And he's intentionally slow and acts like he doesn't give a shit and uses that as a defense mechanism when his jokes bomb. He also doesn't appear well researched, so while I'm not laughing, I'm simultaneously not learning anything. That said, his Epstein glitch joke was quick, forward, and simple, and it showed the way in which an apathetic style can be biting rather than used as a crutch.
