    ありがとうございます。稽古の前に気を静める、心を鎮める。そして宇宙と一体化した稽古をする。肝に銘じて今後も精進します。

I'm curious. On what grounds are you comparing this to? Is it an itto ryu or ZNKR kendo opinion? Or perhaps a ZNIR or Aikido backdrop? Having done ZNKR kendo, and ZNIR eishin ryu, and knowing people who come from other ryu, I can assure you tenouchi and wrist bending differ from one school to the other. Some more, some less.

well, shinai training is different from bokken. hence the different wrist action. the curved blade is the best sword configuration devised yet. and its techniques are high powered.

you just know nothing about the sword. i let you live with your ignorance. Everyone should watch this carefully. very good demonstration indeed!

This is one of the worst exhibitions of Kenjutsu I have seen. The teacher and student have no Tenouchi, their wrists are bent as they strike. The practicality of this style is lacking to say the least. Kashima Shin Ryu was lost centuries ago, they just reconstructed it how they thought it should be. This is why they hide away in Meji Jingu and pretend they do not do this style.

this is a japanese fencing(kendo) vid. not swordsmanship. they are different u know. one is a sport with elegant but unrealistic rules. the other a fighting system developed by a warrior culture with practicality as life saving techniques at its heart.

yeah dude, for some reason the ko-budo community thinks stroking its own ego and living in the past is better than actually doing technique properly. thats probly why its appeal is fading. its to bad too, theres a lot of knowledge there buried beneath the piffel. check out some aikido vids sometime. youll cringe.
