An advice to my juniors (passed my class 12 this year): Please, if you are thinking to pursue science(med/non med) or take up mathematics as one of your subjects, DO NOT leave out on the deleted syllabus, especially med students (biology has so many deletions, class 9 diversity chapter deletion was a huge shock to me). Not that you have to cover all deleted topics, but some topics like complementary angles and trigonometry (sintheta=cos(90-theta)) are the base of class 11 and 12, you would soon realise its application in almost every question, from pure trigo to integration, and evolution and diversity are VERY IMP from NEET point of view. So just overlooking all the deleted portion won't do you any good. I can't say much for humanities/commerce as I myself am a science student.

Another Tip whenever you are solving a question bank or any other book make sure to mark the questions you weren't able To solve And just do those questions whenever you have exams Such as UT , MID or even boards😊

That’s the problem of our education system we just study for our exams not for knowledge, the book which was giving extra knowledge was meant to boost up our education not our vomiting skills in exams

Mam is totally correct.I study NCERT only even in maths I didn't used a reference book like RD or RS.I scored 95% in class 10.I think the best way is to complete whole syllabus till 31 December and after that multiple revisions of NCERT and SAMPLE PAPER+PYQ it is best technique for students who want 95%+ in boards😇😇

@@omsahu878 I got 95 marks in standard maths and 96% overall. I recommend you to solve RS aggarwal. From my experience, I can tell you that no questions are gonna repeat in maths from ncert. I got only 1 question from my ncert for 3 marks and the rest of all questions were either fresh or Pyqs. To be honest my hard of solving RS for the whole year really paid off. After the maths board exam, I saw that many students at the center were crying and regretting but I was the only one who came out smiling. Now the choice is yours _👍🤗

@@SurajMishra-kk1ru They are good references only when you have proper time time to study them and practice questions which can increase your marks , but most of the students in 10th don't know the basics in chapter as they don't read NCERT or listen to teacher and completely rely on references, that's the cause why ma'am say don't depend on references until or unless you have matured concept of the chapter. You can use your all in one English and social science when your concepts are solid and you are ready for practice a lot more questions. Don't read complete theory from reference , read only those topics which you can't understand from NCERT . Best of luck for your preparation

Bruh use Selina Concise ,it is best book available for ICSE, but if you're done with Selina somehow then you can try ML Aggrawal💀 And just so you know, ICSE paper can come from anywhere not from a fixed dumb book

Me who is not going to buy any book and is only dependent on physics wallah 😂 (even my ncert books are for free because they are of my cousin brother and with that bundle I got S Chand books for free because he had that in school)

Guys, take my suggestion,.. i beleive that you can refer books like a Chand and Rd Sharma for practice, it will not only make your class 10th better but would also prepare you for your 11 and 12, if u gonna persue science.

i dont think that just passing your exams should be your only motive. i am myself in class 9, but i solve rd Sharma. it does overcomplicate somethings and it covers some topics out of ncert as well but i am sure my time is not going in vain. this will definitely help me in the future.

A tip for juniors Do study out of ncert of course not useful for board or school exams but for enhancement of knowledge u should definately study out of ncert . Kyuki ncert me kuch de hi nhi rkha h

Guys don't buy S.chand. I scored 100 in science by studying only ncert and pyqs. S. Chand is very lengthy and you can't revise it before your exam. Be smart in choosing books as they will decide your final result of hard work ❤

Yes she is right coz i came in 11th now and in my 10th i haven't used any additional books other than ncert . And i scored 93%. One recommendation Pls solve as much as questions you can especially in maths as I did this mistake 😐. All the best ❤️.

A tip for my junior who are thinking to pursue humanities social science class 9 and especially class 10 is imp in 11 and 12 it will be easy for you relate to the chapters and concepts especially French Revolution and Russian revolution (class12) and industrial revolution for class 11

Okay I am a senior so I will agree w her. I got my results recently and I scored 91% I was expecting more but I scored less in hindi since I have always been weak in that subject. However, for other subjects you can take my advice. English- ncert. Science- ncert and oswaal sample papers 1 month before exams. Maths- ncert and you can try sample papers however I took maths standard and most of it was ncert important questions so please focus on ncert and solve each and every exercise including the extras and examples. Social studies- I am gonna be frank, a lot of people study from youtube and it works for them but the best way to study sst is by yourself. Read ncert as much as you can. Connect the stories. The whole portion of history can be connected to each other. It's a timeline of events. Making your own notes is essential. I scored 98/100 in sst and the thing that helped me was my notes. Notes is the most essential part. However don't make notes for civics and economics, that might save your time. Just write the names of important topics and only revise them before exams. I don't think I am qualified to give tips for hindi since I scored 77/100 but the mistakes I made was not practicing grammar. I would always revise tje grammar portion a day before exam and forget about it later but I regret that. Please practice the grammar questions. Don't buy refrences. Ask it from seniors or just study online.

As a senior, I will give u advice as i scored 89.8% in my 10th boards.. Without solving any sample paper, extra books, without tuition i just followed my NCERT and gave pre boards exams that were conducting in my school..trust me when I was in 10th class my friends used to buy books extra books still they scored less than me!. Trust me don't buy any other book stick to NCERT and PREVIOUS YEAR QUESTIONS I know it's difficult beacuse it's first time for us to face academic pressure but follow this 1 NCERT 2 PREVIOUS YEAR QUESTION you'll score more than your expectations just follow this!.

I referred to a reference book having more than the given syllabus in textbooks. To be honest, some of the questions in the exam were of those topics and moreover, I didn't have any problem remembering them.

Old edition of ncert is good if you want to do some kind of prepartion from class 11 I myself wanna do neet preparation and I am really not happy that cbse has deleted some contents from ncert getting average percentage is acceptable for me as the information's will prepare me for future competative exams 😌

What I'm about to say only applies to if you have a lot of free time and or you enjoy the topics given in ncert A lot of ncert topics especially in history and science have loose ends and some books that expand on the topics given on ncert are really really fun to read and I would really recommend going deeper about topics like electricity and magnetism and the world wars by either reading articles online or reading books that tell you about these. This will help you a tiny bit in exams but will expand your general knowledge a lot

Mam which question bank is better for class 10, Oswaal or Educart? Please tell us

I think for making foundation for class 11 and 12..also for Olympiads and ntse .. It is important to cover deleted topics as they strongs up your base... And still rationalised syllabus is of only 2 months so i also prefer studying topics of level 2 and 3 in order to be prepared for class 11... So choice is yours... For which exam are you aiming for..❤ I read only old ncert having full syllabus... As rationalised will give you only half info...

I m happy with old edition of ncert and those books with have knowledgeable out of syllabus

If you will have extra knowledge it will never bother you . And you are a teacher you should teach children to learn extra because exams are not everything we study of our upcoming future. And knowledge is the key of success not sticking to NCERT

There a best question bank book which have 2000+ questions. Now they released rationalized book. The is book Educart question bank book. If you want the book you can check the video class 9 maths & science ( Learn with mansi). Video name is maths ke master. I hope it is useful to you. 😊😊😊😊😊😊

I didn't buy any reference book for social science, eng or Hindi I had 1 reference book for math and 1 for science and I have scored 94%. The reference book which I had used was TARGET, i m sure many of u wouldn't have heard about it but trust me it is really helpful, it has ncert solutions and has at least 15 questions( short and long) from each and every subtopic and practice papers at the end. You can buy it, it's worth the money

Now I Am a student of class 11th and got 96 percent in 10th. I will suggest my juniors to study only ncert as for cbse no questions are outside of NCERT. For question preparation of boards I will suggest to solve only last 10-15 year papers rather than sample papers because questions of last year papers repeats

But if we will take standard for 10th boards then ncert is not enough we should go through extra books especially in maths it is according to those who have given 10th boards but I respect ur opinion too

Points of didi 1. Reading old ncert id good because old ncert have topics which are backbone of 11th 2.reference books make you prepare for jee/neet/NDA/upsc etc. 3. Is right what didi said 4.is also right

@@Unknownsoul4ever yeah, for maths and for science firstly understand the concept and then thoroughly read the question and translate in an easy language and you should be knowing what question wants to ask. If you ask for books, you should go with *Evergreen*, *All in One*. These 2 are my personal liked books. They are strictly based on NCERT. Beyond this NCERT examplar issued by NCERT only. As in 10th boards one que of science directly came from examplar of 2 marks. And one more thing, don't take stress, chill, have fun and enjoy life as this time comes once in life only but when you are studying just study, never think anything else than that.

I feel The Need of extra Books Which Give Extra Knowledge because I Saw Some Previous Year papers and There were Some questions ( mainly MCQ ) Which Were Not In Ncert even 2022-2023 board Had Some Questions Like These😶

Sabhi 10th juniors ke liye ek aur advise aap sab dusro se note na lekar apna khud ka notes specially in science apke liye bahut helpful rahega aur jaise mam ne kaha oswal book to mam bilkul sahi kah rahi hai specially un juniors ke liye yeah recommendation jo ki thora weak hai . SSt baat ki jaye to reading sabse zyada matter rakhta hai. Otherwise darne ki koi baat 20 marks ke mcq bhi rahenge 60 marks ke very short,short ,long answer type question rahega usme jitna bhi marks milega uske saath alag se 20 marks milega

All my friends you please always study for gaining knowledge and learning more and more things and concepts of your respectively class . specially in maths and science you should do all types of questions. If you study like this you will definitely score 100% marks

Hello Juniors... Ye bilkul sahi kah rhi h kyuki Maine bhi reference book li thi but Maine us book ko use bhi nhi sirf Paisa waste hua aur maine sirf Ncert book padhi.. Agar aap bilkul achhe se ncert book ke ek ek line padhoge wahi same topic aapko reference book me milega but ncert se bahar kuchh nhi aata..

I would recommend all in one refresher for all subject it has best question bank i literally topped my 9 class on that book

I think in Class 9th and 10th NCERT is enough if your English is above average you shouldn’t have any problem. But for +1 and +2 you may need other books especially for physics because its a bit complicated and for chemistry NCERT is a must.

Teachers at class 9 th and 10th be like : Ncert!...Ncert!...Ncert! Only study for exams are not worth it self knowledge is also very important I would suggest all class 10th juniors to study S chand books they are really good and it will give you depth knowledge of science basics Ncert are tough to understand and gives knowledge very short..💫

@@a_shiloy Yes, you should buy S chand books and study them, S chand books have a lot of exercises and pictures for understanding concept and don't be confuse what people said in comments about S chand Books. Because science subject ki deep knowledge important hai ncert read karke tum sirf confuse hoge na hi koi extra knowledge milegi 🙂

This year I got 95.6 % in 10th boards. For sst, hindi and english only ncert is best and for science and maths Ncert+ ncert exemplar is all u need as I have done these Sb hojayega easy h mujhe end m sst m dikkat aayi since syllabus was so vast pr hogyi wo bhi sample paper 1-2 lgakr hogya tha mera pr ncert ka sci sst maths ka revision bht kra eng ka bhi end ke 1.5 mahine m kyuki m bhool jaati thi😂😂 baaki sb easy h hojayega ❤ best of luckkk...❤

Hii students..i got 98% in 10th board this year so I think I can help u with which book to buy and which not ● Books NOT to buy- 1) RD sharma for maths 2) HC Verma for physics( its amazing book but if u are interested in foundation then you can buy this book) 3) Mtg guides 4) Arihant, All in one 5) S chand( its theory is good but questions are not so nice) ●Now books which are very important and must buy- 1) Math and Science exemplar (not solved one..the ncert published) 2) NCERT 3) Oswaal question banks for all subjects ( believe me very useful book) 4) Educart( solve its question papers after october) For questions and theory u have these things..dont buy anything else and yeah for revision notes and guidance and motivation follow shobhit bhaiyya If u do this all..definitely above 90% you all can get Best wishes❤ Ps- One more important tip- Dont leave any question of the books i mentioned..And ncert all lines should be printed in your brain....Understand the concepts properly.

From 23-24 batch 10th... You said that exemplar with solutions isn't good but believe me it's really good for practicing in mathematics and as well as science.... I have arihant one and you'll be amazed to check out those books because I am using them currently and getting more attracted towards the studying. For myself the solution book is best as we don't have to roam here and there for solutions Although its about everyones own preferences. Completely your choice ✅

But in science questions r very different from ncrt... We need extra science books coz ncrt isn't sufficient

on the contrary,as a senior,i would like to say something. students who wish to take science (med or non med) in the near future. please buy old ncert for maths and science since they have deleted most of the important topics which will form the base of your foundation. your focus should not just be scoring marks in boards, it's the basics that need to get cleared in your pre-foundation classes. i would highly recommend following reference books as well (especially for maths and science) i followed ncert only for revision purposes and gained all kind of extra knowledge that i could for science and maths from modules of different coachings and different different reference books and still managed to score 97.6% in my class 10,so i am pretty sure reference books are causing you no harm. if, however, you don't want to continue with science or are just focusing on boards as of now,go with her advice. and she's right about one thing,don't buy old sample papers in any case,they will be of no use to you.

please don't buy s chand for science tho,that is the worst book that i know of.

As a class 9 student I disagree I am a very serious JEE aspirant and I have solved Cengage for physics and mathematics. I also believe you all should study for knowledge rather than studying for marks in boards, studying for boards won't be helpful anyways. Some books I will recommend are class 11th NCERT for 9th students and class 12th NCERT for 10th students. If those are too difficult you would want to try PEARSON IITJEE series it's pretty good too.

In class 9th read and understand deep and deeper ... Don't focus more on marks focus more on concepts because they are gonna be your base in class 11

Everyone is running after marks, not knowledge. Ncert ka old edition mat lo, Rd or Rs sab waste hai. If anyone wants to score well in competitive exams in the future, he needs to build the ability to encounter difficult and lengthy questions , for which rd and rs are necessary.

My advice to junior Ki sirf ncert pdhna or kisi chiz pe dhyan mat dena apna time waste kroge reference krke or Mai to ye Kahana chahungi ki old ncert se pdhk kyunki agr jo topic aalog skip kr doge to fir 11 th me problem hogi. Mai isliye Asa kh rhi ho because I am facing the problem
