In UP’s Rampur, what’s the poll plank? Mandir, jobs or Hindu-Muslim tussle | Another Election Show
Polling for the Lok Sabha elections is set to begin. So, Atul Chaurasia and Manisha Pande have hit the ground, to bring you the most authentic voices on Another Election Show - starting from Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur.
Rampur - a bastion of the now-jailed Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan - is one of the 102 seats to go to polls in the first phase of the elections beginning on April 19. The constituency with 52 percent Muslim vote share, and 48 percent vote share of Hindus and others, has been a stronghold of the Congress, and then Azam Khan.
But after Khan’s conviction in four cases in October 2022, is the constituency again charting its own course? In the 2022 by-elections, the BJP’s Ghanshyam Singh Lodhi won the seat. Is he looking at a repeat win?
Meanwhile, the SP has fielded Mohibullah Nadvi, imam of a Delhi-based mosque, who has been unable to appeal to Khan’s supporters. The Bahujan Samaj Party’s candidate is Zeeshan Khan. Will it divide the Muslim votes?

Very valid point at 23:15 time. Out of 140 Cr Population Govt is serving 80 Cr free food which means more than 50% population. It shows more than 50% population is still so poor. Is this Viksit Bharat? Why we don't have free education instead of Free Food? Why we don't have employment for all who are looking for work/job? If we have education and jobs then there is no need for free food.

Abe pagal ladki desh mein farm practices ke chalte food surplus bhardh gaya specially after pandemic and supply chain issue. We don't have enough facilities to store this much amount of food grain that's why government is distributing if 80℅ meaning 40℅ of population is poor than this country would have collapsed within 2 years. Please read who and World bank statistics where they said. About india eliminating extreme poverty.

These upad people are very bad at connecting dots. If govt gives free ration to 80 Cr people, then those are below extreme poverty line? Please look at the data by NITI AAYOG, NSO and various foreign agency. India reduced extreme poverty to almost zero. But Pappu media will not say you this. And you guys also will not read Newspapers to know both sides. As for free ration: You can go to any FCI godwon, you will see that grains are filled to the brim, many grains are also rotting there. Once Supreme Court, after looking at this site, said to Govt to distribute the grains rather than letting it rot. So, the Govt distributing this excess grains to the masses and Govt only giving it to the people who needs the most. This is the consequence of buying too much from Punjabi and Haryana farmers in MSP to appease them. If Govt legalize MSP, you will see far more worse situation. But looks like Govt has different mind. They are making more and more storage facilities to buy more grains. Looks like wishes of Punjabi and Haryana farmers might come true.

we already have that to a certain extent, we have the right to education and govt has to provide free education till age of 14 years, even after that education is almost free in govt schools. College education is also very cheap if you get in govt colleges. The question should be why are the seats not increasing in govt universities. Instead we are inviting international universities and are giving them complete freedom to decide their fee structure, this further segregates the rich and poor divide and resources available to the. Rich 1% get the best of the best while the rest have to fight for crumbs.

First, Ram Mandir was not made with tax payers money but made with donation from all over India. So, you cannot just distribute the money to poor. Second, after making of Ram Mandir, various attached business can be started near Ram Mandir, like Hotel, Restaurants, Flower shop and various this kind of shop and this will generate employment, boost UP's economy. Third, this is the question of people faith and India's heritage. Modi is doing great work re-vitalizing it. Fourth, If one wants to make a country strong, then some Identity is needed to bond people of the country together. And this Temple will help hugely in this cause. A person without any knowledge calling others Andhbhakts is kind of a irony.
