In Truck Footage. Hume Highway compilation.
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Here are some clips of trucks travelling along the Hume Highway and a couple on the Western Ring Road. I'm driving a Kenworth K 104 B-Double and before any of you anti-truck nutters or "would be if they could be" coppers want to complain, there are no speeding trucks here. The truck I drive is speed limited and I've backed off when other trucks were overtaking me.
Cheers,
Full Noise

I like those new Kenworth K100 Cab Overs and Frieghtliner Argosys. Too bad they don't have as much of them here in the United States. Majority of tractors here are Conventionals.
I remember riding with my dad many years ok in a KW and as a boy thought I was on top of the world. Thanks for the clip, brings back memories.
Great stuff.Did my first Hume run in 79.Different highway back then.
Great video, wonderful scenery! Safe driving and keep on truckin'!! Hope to drive the Hume someday
100km/h or 62m/h, still quick enough with weight, not like in the USA, only 80,000 or 36t, we left that behind in the 70's. Great video, well done
Thanks mate. Having traveled between Sydney and Melbourne many times on the Hume in a car over the past 20 or so years, even before the days of speed limiters, in my experience most (999/1000) truckers are polite, and responsible road sharers. I nothing but great respect for them - especially after watching them park a B double back up to a dock! Thanks for the vid, and the rock n roll :-)
Thank for including the train too. Several years ago I was on a southbuound passenger train and a little after Barnawatha ( while we a doing about the 115KM/H limit we go into Emergency ( brake) and as we rapadly slow down, dust a huge dust cloud appeared ,I knew we'd hit somthing. Fortunatly the driver of the truck we hit was out of the wrecked cab, he'd been rear ended by another truck and ended up on the track. ( probbably a good 20 mintes before) Despite the fact that the place was allready crawling with police and SES, nobody thought to send a guy up the railway a KM in both directions till contact with train controllers was made. If it were me I'd offer the line some protection within 3 minutes of arriving on the scene.
been there done that i drove for about 25 years looks good for 4 minutes
My 2-year old yells "Wan watch big rig!" This is perfect.
I love this video, watched it so many times.

It's over the Hume Hwy actually.
I've never heard anyone say they miss Cullerin Range :P
Once again, excellent excellent work Full Noise ! Perfect editing 10/10. And a great tune to go with it.
excellent video Fullnoise music sets it off really well, my brotherinlaw drives B Doubles between Adelaide and Perth . I recently travelled from Sydney to Whyalla via the Hume Highway I was dreading it as it was my first time on that road, I found it an excellent drive
Great filming and editing FullNoise. A job in the television industry awaits you. Fantastic.
Dude. Hello from Canada. Love your video. Love seeing them LCV's. I know driving with a speed limiter sucks. Probably 100 km/h. I've got a dashboard cam too. Yes; I admit; even my night vision cam sucks. Takes a lot of balls to put a night vision on a Hume Highway compilation. I was on the Hume Hwy in Victoria once. Was there on holiday; visiting friends. I had to catch a flight to Sydney. A truckee friend in a nearby town of Melbourne offered me a ride. I declined. I regret.
Some beautiful machinary there (and big dollars). Nice work FN. I enjoyed the ride.
Só caminhões top
The music was awesome! So was the video. 👍🏻 from a Texas trucker
This is pro! I cogged em for a few years and it makes me want to go back into it. The music is spot on. Nice work, stay safe.
Beautiful country, Amazing trucks, trucks looks diferent
I remember travelling up the Hume in the early 60's with my parents going camping, trucks were so slow back then and the Hwy basically single lane, now a retired truckie that has driven today's not so slow beasts
And here I was thinking Fullnoise was relative to your preference of George Thorogood PMSL ;) Thnx for uploading... it's been 20+yrs since I've seen the Hume from the passenger seat. Good to see there's still some old school truckers out there!!!
single lane sesame street would have been more risky fun in the old days jarred up and full bore , nowadays it is good to see more blokes live longer along that track!
Great clips, perfect song, thank you.
Great vid of some awesome trucks!
Awesome i love trucks especially the jake brake sounds Choice
love this video.. great trucks, great song bloody great mate
some really good footage there loved it!
Top stuff Fullnoise !....I start to get a the horn at 0:16....... all the way to the end. Yeee harr !
You guys do a great job. Nice vid. Cheers.
1:25 that same DRT truck comes near my work once a week love that truck deffs a eye baller ;)
At 3:04 I'm suprised the train was going so fast, he must of been between mud hole restrictions !! Nice clip. I haven't seen those new Lindsay trailers yet.
Loved it!
what an awsome looking bit of road and country. bet it would be your high light of the trip haha
Cool shots. Side-by-side with train was a treat...
the scene with the train running along beside you is the best shot! wo hoo!
Excellent drivers on highway in Aussie! No road rages! Better than insane drivers on bad road ragers!!!!!! Cool to drive on road trains!! I'll an trucker in the future. Friendly atmosphere!!
Grouse work ol, mate - nicely done !
We have a pair of loons here in the UK wanting to use Doubles. They have even built one each to try an prove thier point to DoT. As a wagon driver of over 20yrs experiance I think they should take thier heads out in the yard for a wobble. If you have ever been to the UK & seen what its like to make a living with a truck on our roads you,d agree with me 100%.. great vid BTW.. Drive safe.
Great stuff bud.
great vid mate, love your vids. will be good in 2 years time when its freeway all the way on the hume. will be even better if that massive truck stop south of the cutta is built.
Awsome video, that got the blood stiring.
Sweet vid mate thanks.
Great video thanks
Top stuff mate !
I like how the music fits the whipers at 0:43 and the moment the trucks in the oncoming lane disappear from screen matching with the music at 3:40
Great tune, great times great place love it 4eva
Ah, the 'Doom Die-way'. Looks better these days.
Great clips
Thanks for a fantastic video.. Our a tympat page on Facebook love this mate . Well done . Love it!!! ❤️❤️
Great vid mate!
this video is great, i play it soo bloody loud my ears ring.. great video mate done well
@astra686 G’day astra686, There are many variables with your question. The truck I’m driving in this clip does around 1720 RPM @ 100 KPH. It has a diff ratio or 4:33. I’m now driving a Kenworth K108 that has a 4:11 diff ratio that will give you 100 KPH @ 1550 RPM.
Those are some nice machines that you have manged to catch - like the Blue TRT Tomato truck @1.25 - nice colors.
great clip!
great video.
There are some triple drive trucks (3 axles at the rear of the truck) in Australia, and many trailers with triple axles. Some operators even have triple dollies between the trailers to cincrease the load capacity further
B Doubles being trialed in the UK next year... Thats gonna be fun.
great clip.
AMAZING VID MATE
Nice video mate!
Nice, great song to it as well
Sad to see a flynn go by,nice work.
very clear videos
That was good mate! I think the USA blokes watching would be pullin em selves over our doubles and trains.haha!!! a bit full noise gear changes or engine braking edited into clip will make your next video even better!!!
you guys have all the cool equipment in Australia !!! most we get here in the USA is double 53 foot combinations.

+Justin La Porte If you think these are cool then do an image search for Australian Road Train. They're the big boys of freight hauling.

Everytime I want to get amped up I listen to this song every time to wake up too or I should......nonetheless I should start every morning with this great song
I ran that highway a thousand times in a B-double. A lot of familiar faces and places there!
great clip great song :)
truck drivers major respect to you's keep australia rolling
FN - Nice to just sit here and admire the fine machinery. I drive the 'Fume Highway' every week in a KW T409 (last years model), and it is very tall. I noticed your cam position seems very elevated above the height of the neigboring trucks (or is just the effect of the wide ange lens). Keep pushin' the KW 'cause its Far-Kenworth-It.
Fuel usage depends on the type of trailers, HP of the truck and weight, road and weather conditions (windy etc) and driving style. You can get anything between 1.8 to 2.2 kilometres to the litre, so an average trip from Melbourne to Sydney will be around 450 litres. Considering the amount of weight moved, these trucks are very efficient. Cheers, FN

How heavy can you run without being pulled over
Drive this road every few months.. nice video.
u just passed another Linfox.... well done
@Rocketboy1950 Thats what I was thinking. I thought they were spaced 3 km's apart.
Many thanks for prompt reply, Regards,
I will be travelling on the Hume Highway next week for my grade 6 Canberra camp and I’m pretty sure I’ve never been on the Hume Highway
" lOVE IT FULLNOISE!!!!!" KEEP IT FLAT ON THE MAT BROTHA!!!!! SEE YA SOUTHBOUND NEXT TIME OL'MATE!!!!!
@sydneyfcanddascc actually near wodonga, old barnawartha rd and mckoy st
Hold on a sec now i have driven the Hume for many years now please correct me if i'm wrong but i remember there being a hell of a lot more road kill laying around lol and at some points the road is just red or orange from all the roo and wombat blood lol or did you guys give it a clean lol.
Most Australian Drivers hardly ever encounter a Road Train, but I live in Taperoo and around here Road Trains are about 20 times more frequent than Buses.
@fuzzz182 if you play it in hd full screen you can read the sign, its approaching the broadford exit in vic
Keep the videos coming Kiddo....
Love this video, recognise all the areas and had to laugh when you went on the Ring road and it was all jammed up; like usual. Are they ever gonna finish the roadworks on the Ring Road, or is it a 30 year plan? Lots of nice trucks, and loved reading of you slowing down when other trucks pass you; that's courteous professional driving at its best.
OFF TAP MATE 🚛👌🏽

Ol' Sesame Street...where all the girls and boys come out to play!
goood stuff!
Looks like you have been out of town for a bit ... much better than dealing with the Western Ring Road.
i think truckies are the most misunderstood people ever, they cop so much shit from people who have no idea what its actually like to drive a truck i mean HEY im only 17 and have never drove one but iv rode in one for work experience with my friend and it was a real eye opener just to see my mates dad drive with a digger on the back just watching him cycle through all those gears really was amazing to watch. and dont get me started on the distances they drive. peace out bro
Gday mate. I havent been down the cutta in a while. Do you know what have they been up to with the road works?
Nice bent stack @ 4:16 probably cos its a western star...
Thought it'd be harder to Drive a Truck but it aint once you get used to it I find it no harder then a car just have to leave bigger gaps etc (in the process of getting my HR from a standard car license now done 2x 4 hour lessons to date + once done in 12 months when eligable I'll up it to the MC) As Without Trucks Australia Stops, Love Trucks Love Driving so it only seems logical to get into that Career (some say it's more of a passion then a career) Keep on Trucking
random question: are any road trains with 6x2 tractor units instead of tandem drives?
Just like how some people like seeing classic cars, many truck drivers have the sam passion for trucks around them. Not all truck footage has to be about crashes, the point of this video is the other trucks around him
Do you guys talk to each other?because when im in my 4wd i hear you guys over the radio all the time and i hear some wierd stuff sometimes
The only issue I have with B triples is... bit hard to back onto the dock...
And he ain't referring to 95 kph, only mph really does it 😵💫🥰
