I'm from anchorage, Alaska where a bunch of people to seem to move to from Tonga and Samoa (why it's so cold!) And I've always wanted to visit the pacific islands of oceania so beautiful and love the island culturea

I want to see Tonga practice what they preach. We claim to be such and such yet ridicule laugh and gossip about our own people. Be peaceful and not jealous, hate and envious, and definitely not materialistic which is something Tonga is soo obsessed with atm, if you don't have this and that you ain't in our circle. This goes from material things to achievements. I see people boasting at reunions to people ridiculing at churches. That divides us.

The churches has too much power. People grow up in fear of doing other things that's outside of tongan tradition. They need to teach the youth how to think bigger. Everyone in tonga seems to live in a narrow minded.
