Free: The 1st definition of "Free": not under the control or in the power of another; able to act or be done as one wishes. "I have no ambitions other than to have a happy life and be free" The 2nd definition of "Free": not or no longer confined or imprisoned. "the researchers set the birds free" Now let's look at will: The word "Will" as a verb doesn't fit meaning the expressing the future tense "you will regret it when you are older" or a request "you will stop". This doesn't fit. but the Word "will" as a noun does. Let's look at "Will" as a noun: the faculty by which a person decides on and initiates action. For example: "she has an iron will". Now this seems more appropriate. control deliberately exerted to do something or to restrain one's own impulses. "a stupendous effort of will" Now that we've laid out each definition Free; not under the control, and Will; the faculty by which a person decides on and initiates action. It's almost impossible to be stuck unless you're freedom of will was removed. This would not be free will. Recap: To me this is life changing when we step back and look at it from 30,000 feet: When someone is not under the control or in the power of another, and has the faculty by which a person decides on and initiates action. The skies are the limits IMO. 🙂This is Free Will. The real question is. Is Free will in illusion? Before you say yes think about this when you asked that question. It reminds me of Stepford Wives. The story is almost exactly the same.

Until the ending it seemed more like a remake of Stepford Wives than Matrix.

Yep. For women who really really hate men, this is a perfect movie. It was directed by Olivia Wilde, someone who actually does really really hate men in real life.

I interpreted the movie very differently. She's a doctor, satisfied with her career, her husband wasn't happy so he drugged her and chained her against her will and put her in a virtual reality. The majority of the women didn't consent to be there, they were held hostage. The men weren't forced to make the woman happy, they had to work to sustained for the forced VR they put themselves and family in.

No ,you can not make someone happy against their will.

It was wild that Olivia Wilde tried to destroy Shia Lebouf and Jordan Peterson just to make a mid stepford wives remake.

Well, this reminds me of the movie with Bruce Willis and the civilization where everybody. Depending on the technology and living through robots, the human race was basically dying and one man chose to wake up from it and destroyed all the robots and the humans were forced to live in their own bodies. Once more. At the end I can't remember the movie. It sounds kind of like this. Except people lived through robots.

this movie is just femenist garbage, its just trying to make hardworking housewives feel terrible about themselves, there is nothing wrong with a woman taking care of her family, raising children and making sure her husband has a loving caring wife when he comes back from work. Men work and do the hard jobs and bring home the money, while woman raise the children and keep the house alive and well, why does it have to be so complicated. If my wife ever wanted to do other stuff besides being a housewife then i would gladly support her, but being a caretaker is the most fulfilling thing a woman can do since its littery what you are designed for and i don't care if that offends you, that is just an undeniable fact if you take biology into consideration. A man is given superior strength for a reason and any man that abuses it or doesn't even use it to provide for his family can never call himself a man.
