Quick question for the production team. Is the main reason most of the archival video footage is shown on the smaller older tv screens because it’s easier to film the tv screens playing them in the evidence room instead of having to bring back the tapes to the studio and connect old vhs players to computer devices to record the video or is it to keep other yt creators from stealing the video material if you were to make the archival video fully fill the screen. No disrespect intended. I love the aesthetic of the old tv’s but sometimes it makes it hard to see the footage because they are small and only occupy part of the screen.

Wow. Just wow!!! At 15 yrs old I was still playing football with my mates at every opportunity and although I was discovering girls and probably always trying to impress them I never, ever had thoughts or hurting anyone or breaking the law in any way....my dad would have knocked me in to next week if Id ever bring police to our front door. I came from a loving family with 2 sisters and my mum and dad loved us and were always pushing us to get educated and work hard at school and sports etc. BUT WE WERE DEFINITELY A WORKING CLASS FAMILY AND NOT BLESSED WITH THE SORT OF MONEY WHERE WE COULD BE SPOILED. my dad worked so hard as a Roofer and my mum as a school dinner lady ....and I loved them dearly for everything they provided. Many mates of mine went to prison for long sentances and later in life so did I but looking back (im 60 yrs old now) at these boys ages, I wouldnt, couldnt even have any thoughts about hurting a girl let alone doing the deviant stuff they did to her. Looking at my comments, Im ranting cos Im just so shocked at what 2 "kids" done to a young girl. RIP to that young girl.....AND THANKS MUM AND DAD FOR RAISING ME CORRECTLY!!!

Jose Reyes was in my house a week before this happened. I knew I can feel evil on him. I told the person who brought him over there that she had to make him leave and then to see this happen. His mom lived in our same apartment complex she got put out, as soon as I figured out, it was him her and all her other kids. It was really sad for her. That little boy was very evil.

One of my nieces brought him over so it wasn’t anything he did specifically it was just his energy and the things he would say which he did say that he worshiped the devil and wanted to sell his soul I told her that she had to make him leave that was within 20 or 30 minutes of meeting him

I really appreciate that you were willing to show a certain level of actual crime scene photos because it really conveys what the victim went thru, what depraved monsters the criminals are. Hiding forensic evidence or censoring the actions of the criminal is only doing a disservice to the victim and not getting their story out and just protecting the criminals.. I know it's very harsh but it's unrealistic to think it's the right thing to hide difficult things from people just because we think it's too traumatic.. That's not how we learn, grow, sympathize, etc. It's difficult but if done right it can help us have more compassion and strength.

I was the same age as the murderers in that year and you know what i was doing? Playing on my DS or candy crush. Lord have mercy.

The D.A has so much compassion for the victim. Its hard to imagine young people doing this to another young person I feel for her family and all the people that really cared for her. They raped her you can tell just by the way her friends talk about her that she was not what they were trying to say.

There had to be some type of childhood rage in these kids to do that too her it’s crazy these days

How does a family even begin to progress one loosing there baby then finding out what happened to there baby,I mean how do you take that in,the cruelty??.. My daughter died in 2021 & that felt like the world ripped from under me,it crushed me,so how does a family even come to terms/deal with this..then they have got to find the person that done then go to court,how do you sit in that court the pos not far from you,then have to listen to that & they try & dirty the victims name??.. My heart & thoughts truly go out to these families,it really does..not just that there are many victims to this,but it's the pos that's done it that gets protected & gets to carry on with there life,it sickens me.. Bless you corrian,I'm lost for words,I just hope your loved ones get the love,help & support they need to see each & every day through..it's so so senseless,it doesn't make sense,I mean he couldn't even answer her,I just don't understand this.. I remember this we was living here when this happened this was heartbreaking and evil in so many ways my condolences and 🙏🏽 to the family.

What these two boys did to this beautiful angel is unforgiving! Two felonies later, 16 y/o, and committing more crimes, look what they did to her! St. Michael, defender of faith and love of GOD, may these two young men get what they deserve. In Gods name we pray. 🙏

I doubt Victor would have done any of that without José, he didn't have any of the tells once he started admitting to being involved yet José was going on about what he did to anyone near him. Victor should have taken off, maybe he would've just gotten a charge for rape. People getting pulled into bad or worse than intended crimes happens pretty often. It also sounds like José's mind is giving that solid kick off into full blown schizophrenia. If he does get out of prison on parole someday if he doesn't have the right kind of help to keep him on medication he'll end up back in for one reason or another, hopefully it isn't another murder.

Well done. Very familiar with this case. The complete lack of humanity of some is quite disheartening.

I find it interesting that she suffered so much and yet the family member (aunt? cousin? I know it's NOT her mother) at the memorial barely sheds a tear when the reporter asks her how the family is holding up. "And we know that she's in a better place?!!!" If you've ever lost someone that WASN'T on death's doorstep suffering from say cancer...but was healthy and doing well and had a bright future have you ever ONCE heard anyone, EVER, say about them "they're in a better place" ?!!!! Maybe "she died too young" or "life isn't fair it always takes the young" or "she had so much to live for" but better place...?!!!! Nah, what the puck?!!! I've had a murdered mom, a stepbrother who committed suicide, another brother who died in a Harley accident. And a brother with AIDS. Lost my best friend to AIDS and another to manic depression and I just lost my father...and only one of those deaths did we say, "he was in a better place" and that's my dad dying at 87 in January suffering from stage iv. I think Coriann all across the board got a bum deal. A relatively uninvolved family enjoying the spotlight her death brought and these monsters that killed her...she was treated unfairly, unkindly and denigrated, humiliated and torn apart...she deserved better. And here's a hint...if you make a deal with The Devil remember you will always lose. The Devil will always win.

Change the law and if any juvenile committed a crime should be judge as a adult and get life in prison without a possibility a parole and send a message to the criminals

Some people are just born evil and no amount of rehabilitation or therapy can change that and some people just choose to be and do evil.

No one is born evil that's just foolish and ridiculous. You just don't have any understanding or knowledge of the biblical world. We don't wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and wickedness in high places

I can’t believe how young these kids are getting who commit such horrible, horrible crimes. Lord knows how much more pressure they have these days, and it’s going to get worse I fear. Both parents need to work these days just to make ends meet, so our kids are left to their own devices and don’t have the same amount of parental input as we had when I was a youngster. The internet has ruined so many kids lives in so many ways. Bullying, violence and the pressures of looking and acting a certain way…… the list goes on. Then there’s drugs destroying the family unit and children are left to figure out what’s right or wrong on their own. I am fearful for my youngest grandson because I don’t know what it will be like by the time he gets to highschool. He is such a gentle soul at 7, and I hope he can keep his outlook on life, but the stories I’m hearing from older grandchildren about the bullying and drugs and sexual violence aren’t giving me much faith. I don’t know what the answer is, sigh

Kids, especially young women, whether we want it to be or not, this world is dangerous. And whenever someone reminds us of that we evidently “blame the victim.” Or we are told that woman shouldn’t have to be extrovert careful. They shouldn’t. An that’s what should be, not what is. What actually is means that after dark, no woman should walk alone outside, and it means that as a hs or college kid there is absolutely no upside to “partying”. None. U can get used, passed around, and may not even know it. “I know these men!” Most no-good actions get done to woman by men they know. Again, don’t be along. And trust your instincts. Always. Don’t shake your head and think you must be imagining it. You’re not. And get license to carry, and practice. Know it better than your best friend. BFFs are great. They don’t scare away many marauders. ❤❤❤

I STRONGLY suggest whoever is in charge of training American police, please STOP telling police that they only have to read Miranda rights if they're questioning the suspect. If any suspect (who you consider to be a suspect) starts confessing / talking about the crime (which is common when they're under arrest - especially juveniles), it will be thrown out because American police are currently only Mirandizing suspects immediately before questioning them, which is BS (watch any KZread video of a cop's bodycam). By the cops way of thinking, if they never question a suspect, that suspect would never have to be told their rights. Does that make sense to ANYONE??

I Knew this kid jose ,I worked with his sister,I don't remember him ever being this way in the short time I knew him ,but his eyes weren't so lifeless looking as they are in the photos,they shined when I knew him ,something went really wrong in the few months I knew him his family are all good good people,I think drugs were a big part of where jose started his downward spiral. I'm so sorry this poor girl had to endure such brutality from someone who looked as if he'd never hurt a fly....
