Ohh my I can't believe I've missed this video until now! I'm so sorry Alegria! How I've missed your voice, it almost makes me teary-eyed listening to you again. And what a story you've shared with us! I've never watched or read Anne of Green Gables though I've heard a lot about it. And after watching your video I feel a calling to read Lucys books. The buildings and surroundings are so beautiful and well preserved. I can relate very much to you being so happy seeing all those things from your favorite characters, yet they aren't really there. That tells how good of a story it is, and I loved to hear your excitement. I believe your story to be true an fully possible. I've only had a handful of those kind of experiences myself but God do I know that it wasn't only in my imagination. There's little I'm as sure about as that. I have my notification on for your videos & always watched them as soon as I get the notification. However, for some reason, I sensed I had to watch it when it was not hectic around me. What an incredible experience you encountered. I heard it in your voice, the sense of joy. You were meant to be there at that moment & for the Governor of Practicality to sit it. Ohhhh my goodness Alegria! Kindred spirits!! We were totally born in the wrong era!! 😅 Wow!! The Anne of Green Gables house! How gorgeous…….. what a special day, the meadow flowers, the beautiful house, the atmosphere of just “being” in that space & feeling it would have been AMAZING!! So special for you to have that connection my dear friend! And well done Mr Practicality for being a good sport and opting for a relaxing seat to take it all in. I had a very similar experience when I was in Amsterdam afew years ago and I went to the Anne Frank museum. To walk where she walked, to feel the room she hid in during the war…. To see her diaries in the flesh…… So powerful! When you have these moments of connection to really meaningful books and people who’ve inspired you, it is so powerful! I never got to read the books (were not available on my side of the world), but saw the movies/series and loved 'meeting' a girl who's imagination seemed limitless. She felt like a kindred spirit.
