When Elise asked Grant what he thought about the wave we were surfing that day, he said it reminded him of one of his favorite breaks back home, San Onofre. And after watching the guys go for a second session in the middle of the day fueled by the best huevos rancheros and some mystical powers and seeing them go wave for wave, set after set, for hours with basically no one around, ten after ten, turn after turn, I began asking myself if they were actually in San O. I think they are.
