What an arrogant emperor he is, he has not ruled for a long time, but behaves like an acting ruler. I don't like that he allows everyone to worship him all the time, he lets his friends do bows in front of him. But he didn't even look at the princess, he said a phrase to her with a haughty look without even looking at her.

Try to keep a few things in mind here. Despite being a participant of a culture that stresses the importance of status and elders, he came into existence with no place in society and no heritage to define him. Everything he achieved he had to do under his own power alone, ostracized, and bullied from a young age. He wasn't brought up in this culture and once he got to a certain point in achievement, everyone began to differ to him. He's never had to show respect based on niceties and what respect he shows is because of other's merits and character. He's dismissive of her because he doesn't know her and he is literally above caring about her status. What he knows of her at this point is that she is young, female and privileged and he's been dealing with similar women trying to entice him for a long time. I'd guess, based on how other women in the series behave around him, that he's learned that even a small amount civility gets misinterpreted as interest and he probably uses the same tactic with any new woman he meets in order to discourage attempts at seducing him.

Right there,, Donghua acts like a jerk.. tomorrow I can watch this show a totally different way.. Fengjui doesn't like him -- here @ this scene.. don't blame her .. he seems conceited.. I am surprised he doesn't have more children,, than the one with Fengjui..

I wouldn't be surprised after everything (aka the other show) They had more children aka little fox cubs.
