As a California native, I concur with your review wholeheartedly. That was about the most honest, accurate description of a double double imaginable. I will readily admit that In-N-Out is a bit over-hyped for you east coasters, but it is *QUALITY* "fast food." It was about as over-hyped as Five Guys was before it made its way out here. I went to Five Guys shortly after one opened up near my prior residence. It was a very solid-quality burger, akin to In-N-out in that respect, though not entirely comparable. They are two totally different styles, but both have their own merits.

In-N-Out is known for simplicity - very limited menu, good quality ingredients, nothing fancy. And from what I understand, they treat their employees well (decent pay, advancement opportunities). I had a friend who came to visit me in Las Vegas. The first place I took him to eat was In-N-Out. He loved it so much, he ate two double-doubles, and even bought a t-shirt. Later, after he had moved permanently to Vegas, we made a gentlemen's agreement, and each got a tattoo selected by the other. My friend wore a large In-N-Out logo, complete with the big arrow, on his shoulder for the rest of his life.

"They're really known for a few things on their menu." They only have a few things on their menu lol In-N-Out has great quality and good prices, probably in part because their menu is so simple. But it is a very simple menu compared to most fast food restaurants. They have one kind of burger. You can choose the number of patties and slices of American cheese, up to 4 of each. Standard toppings are lettuce, tomato, and spread (thousand island dressing). You can also add/substitute raw onion, grilled onion, ketchup, mustard, or pickles at no extra charge. That's it. They have one kind of side: their French fries. Three flavors of shakes (chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla). A standard soda fountain with mostly Coca-Cola products. Even their famous "secret" menu is just re-mixing the items above. For example, "animal fries" is just their regular French fries topped with the American cheese, spread, and grilled onions that go on a burger. A "neopolitan shake" is the three shake flavors mixed together. The "animal style" burger is a burger with the pattie(s) grilled in mustard with grilled onions and pickles. A "protein style" burger is a burger in a lettuce wrap instead of a bun.

I wouldnt mind if they doubled the price on the double double, maybe the place wouldn't be packed all the time. I go get my fix at 10:30 am and theres already 3 or 4 cars ahead of me.

They do very few items but do them all well . Go inside . Everyone is helpful and friendly and the service is fast The place is spotless with a lively atmosphere . One of the best all around burger joints I've ever tried .

Next time you're in Cali order it "Animal Style", they put fried onions and extra sauce on it. Also you didn't mention the grilled bun, that always makes the burger for me. Love your show!

I really hope you're an ambidextrous flamenco guitar player.

I just discovered this guy a couple of weeks ago and it is amazing the difference in this video and his newer ones. He speaks closer to your everyday normal guy here but his newer ones he speaks and looks more like a reporter from the 1940's. Not sure why he made the change....perhaps to separate himself from all the other reviewers. I'm amazed how he has accumulated close to 3 million subscribers.

Hello. Just a few notes. I found the tosh.o episode that had Reviewbrah (John) on there, and I remember he was wearing an oversized black suit for the show. He mentioned, and the comment on here confirm, including people noticing he has makeup on his face, that he was driven here directly after the show. This suit is not black, and not oversize. It seemed weird to me, so went back to his comments about the show. I saw the show, they were hyping up the young guy in the oversize suit, showing part of the Pan Pizza review that first got him famous. (Second note: he has over 2 million subscribers now, but at this point he didn’t even have 50,000 subscribers). He shows up for the show, in a suit that looks too good on him for the look the show was going for, so they had to search for a suit that would deliberately not fit, and finally found a black suit that was 2x too big for him. Good to know this was the original suit he wore, and the show was right, he does look good in this suit, especially that tie.

It’s really entertaining when people argue which is better. InNout or 5 guys. When it comes to this discussion. You have to factor in several facts about each establishment. In-N-Out focus is quality beef and ingredients for a fair price. The menu is simple so they can preserve the quality and stay true to their beliefs. 5 guys is about choices and additions along with quality meat. You have more options with burgers and fires at 5 guys but you will play a significantly higher price at 5 guys. A meal at In-N-Out on average is about 7/8 dollars per person while 5 guys is 10/11. When you look at the quality to price In-N-Out comes out on top. Both services provide a great product to their customers and fans. When it comes to the two it’s a matter of opinion and taste. It’s up to the individual and just because you like In-N-Out doesn’t mean the person who likes 5 guys is wrong. It seems to be a big problem in society that just because someone likes something different or disagrees with you than you must not like that person. This is not true! This is what makes us diverse and human. We can all enjoy different things but still have respect and learn from each other. Variety is good for us and both burger joints are great and so are you people! Those cars that went by sounded fast!!

Zach Pearson five guys opens in new orleans and was out of business in less than 3 months. I went one time and it was expensive and no better than Wendy's. I can't imagine in and out being much better if that's what ppl compare it to but we don't have one here.

I used to live really close to that In-N-Out! It's the one close to LAX and i was told it's the busiest one in America.

Judging by the fact that this review occurred coinciding with an interview, I assumed this was Los Angeles. Judging by the planes, it’s near an airport, likely LAX. At one point the plane’s shadow is huge and clearly visible, the In-N-Out has to be close to the airport. Using street view I have determined that In-N-Out is: 9149 Sepulveda Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90045 United States
