I love that he has a Jamaal Charles jersey dangling over the fireplace gate. One thing I've always appreciated about him, besides his music is that he also really likes sports.

Asked him about that today after they did a KEXP session in Seattle; he said he just had a "special feeling" about Jamaal from the second he saw him, and mentioned he has that same special feeling about Patrick Mahomes now. He thinks the Chiefs fleeced Washington in the trade and they're going to be on the up and up this season. Pretty rad.

I like the old poetry books!!!!! Back in the day poets were relegated to printed pages and construction paper covers. I also liked the sculpture, but did his wife mind that it was featured on camera?????

Not really. There's a variety of poetry sub genres such as vagina poets, hair poets, not to mention the western-modern hegemony critisism smell poet movement in the early seventies.
