In all honesty, the relationship between Morocco, Spain and Portugal is funny and a complicated historical relationship. Moroccan cuisine is known for combining sweet and savoury in the same dish. That’s what makes Moroccan cuisine different ☺️ 😋😋😋 other dishes to try are Bastilla one of Morocco’s best known signature dishes. It’s essentially a chicken pie but really sweet and really savoury ☺️ It’s made with a pastry similar to filo but uses so many flavours and ingredients one wouldn’t necessarily expect to find in a chicken pie. Then there’s the Merouzia tajine and meat and prunes tajine and Chicken with deghmira tajine and the list goes on and on and on. Basically when in Morocco any day is a tajine day with limitless combinations. Enjoy your stay 😉
