I watched Steve's videos for the first time two days ago. I watched about two hours.

Steve was a wonderful person. RIP Steve.

He was a great gardener and some really logical thinking in terms of some of the best ways to grow, will be sadly missed

Yes Nick, a proper gardener. No aires and graces but down to earth logic and timeless advice. It’s a real shock to the system, we can’t stop thinking about Steve in a good way 💔

@@merseybeet totally agree and had some great ideas off this man - cancer is awful, lost my day last July through it. I think about him all the time and I'm sure many will think the same about Steve

I'm sad this is how I found out, RIP 💔

I started to listening to Steve who was growing plants in a green house, during a dark cold Canadian winter, so I went out and bought a green house.

He was one of the first you tubers that I followed I only made the odd comment on his channel he always acknowledged them and his passing upsets me more than I could ever imagine it would

I have watched Steve since the beginning of lock down when it was a very scary time and Steve gave me a sense of normality besides inspiring me to get out there and garden I’ve even got my own plot now I haven’t commented before now about Steve because I found it hard to express my sadness of his passing RIP Steve green side up

I didn’t know him until I watched JB paying tribute I subscribed and will be missed by many

THANK YOU ALL for your kind comments and to use a Liverpool saying Steve would be “Made Up” to know how many people from around the world loved and appreciated his fine work. Like we said in the video, make comments is nice but not a prerequisite to appreciating a master gardener. Quietly hold him in your heart ❤ and plant a handful of sweet peas……that’ll do the job. 🪴🪴🪴

Hi yes I've watched a few of those born and raised in prescot ,and enjoyed them I was born and raised in Whiston by the carrs hotel thanks very much .
