This Verse has help me through a lot and I think it helps with anything in life to be honest. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This puts into perspective for me that u can do anything if u believe in Christ and that giving up is not the right thing no matter how hard life is u can do it with Christ. Phillip, and Drake, I don't think there's another turkey channel on KZread as good, clean, and accurate as this one. I watched almost all of them, learned alot, turned me into a better turkey hunter. I'll watch more future episodes, but I know the feeling of losing a loved one and being obsessed with the outdoors, very tough. Very sorry for your loss Phillip. Prayers to you. My son passed away this year also and the passion of turkey hunting was passed down for sure to him. I am sorry for your loss and every turkey we kill from this day forward is for Michael which is my son's name and Shannon and little will buddy. This year is gonna be the hardest one since the first one however there's not a doubt in my heart that they would absolutely hate to know we missed a day in the woods. Sitting in the woods and praying to God that heaven is full of turkeys and they're all hunting together waiting for us to join them once again

Phillip, I have been exactly where you are. Like you I believe in signs from the lord. I can remember the day we laid Pam to rest. I was leaving my sister in law's house and driving home. I was feeling alone and a little afraid of the future. I was about a mile from there house when three hens crossed the road. Behind them were 32 poults. Like you the wild turkey has been a big part of my life. I took that as a sign that even though we don't always understand God's plan, he is with us and can do amazing things. It has been four years now and he has been there every step of the way. Never lose your faith.

So sorry for your loss. Keep your faith and he will see you through this, I lost my father opening day of turkey season years ago. An older turkey hunting mentor made me go with him several weeks later. Daddy was running the show from above and I killed a beautiful Eastern in south Alabama.

Buddy I am so sorry for your loss. Lost my father when I was 17 suddenly to a heart attack. All I can say is the pain never goes away but will lessen with time, god and the outdoors. All any of us can do is keep moving forward and live the life our lost loved ones would want us to. May god bless you and your family during this hardship.

One thing I learned 16 years ago when my brother passed away. I was the same way I gave up but I learned. God will never bring us to it, if he won't bring us through it! Never give up brother. The things that bring us passion the lord will use as refuge and a place to find peace when we have to deal with unfortunately difficult times in our lives.
