Tony Horvatin and Chris Vaughan pay a heartfelt tribute to Blake Nancarrow, who was a very valued and admired member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada - Toronto Centre, and who passed away on Sept 1st of this year. Their tribute was presented to the Recreational Astronomical Night hybrid meeting held at the Ontario Science Centre on November 1st, 2023.

Hi RASC, I wanted to say a very big thank you to Blake for getting me into observing double star. I live in the UK. He has inspired me to keep going and he will continue to inspire me. RIP Mr Nancarrow see you in the stars.
Wow. Really sad to hear of Blake’s passing. I learned a lot from his talks. RIP.
