I have called my pets lazy lima beans and coconuts since I first saw this show in the 90s. In Living Color was such an amazing show and I can still go back and watch any skit and laugh my ass off. Of all the '80s and '90s reboots they brought back, this one was sorely missed.

My wife is Jamaican and very hard-working but will prefer to have a heated argument than admit she is wrong about anything. Maybe most women are like that, I sound so sexist but I'm not lol.

My aunt dated a Jamaican and I can vouch they loooove to work!

I still think about this a lot. I say, "You're lazy. You only have one job?"

A long way fa a joke, don't ya tink? Yeah, but they put so much effort into this show, and it gave us one of the most funniest shows ever.

The funny thing about this skit is Asians sell everything to the Jamaicans now from the fruit and vegetable stands to the hair store and restaurants.

just saw this for the first time today. might be my fav ILC skit of all time now.

it's enjoyable comedy. doesn't need to be made a talking point about anybody special . just enjoy.

@wowjef The difference is satirizing stereotypes vs perpetuating stereotypes. The majority of times when Hollywood WASPs have East Asian people in their TV shows, they perpetuate stereotypes by having them all as nerds, geeks, or martial artists. Their material is far from satire. SNL and MAD TV sometimes do have good satire as well. Stephen Colbert's character of the stereotypical-East Asian accent is also a good satire. Good satire makes the viewer aware it is a stereotype.
