I got a chance to hang out and talk with Steph after a show one night. Deftones and Incubus were on tour ashes after they played he went to the buses grabbed his skateboard and just hung around and I was in a Deftones cover band at the time playing guitar and we chilled for at least an hour or so just taking about side project stuff, and Joe ESP was working on a 9 string for him at the time around I think Koi No Yokan was out and he was so chill. We smoked a joint and just had a good time..... while we were talking a bunch of people noticed him and were trying to interrupt our conversation and he told everyone he’d take pictures, sign stuff sans say hi when he was done with me. I felt so cool they he wasn’t like pretending to only talk to me becuase im a fan he was actually enjoying a good conversation. That was such an awesome night. He offered to sign something for me, took some pics, let me ride his skateboard, and gave me a link to check out a bunch of stuff he had been writing on his own outside of Deftones. That’s as definitely one of the best nights I’ve ever had out at a show for sure.

Smoked a fat blunt at this dudes concert in Denver 2 years back... great jams. One of the greatest rock bands with unforgettable guitar licks. One of those rock bands where you can feel the music, so to speak
