The Dead South might be the best thing to ever come out of Canada! Broken cowboy is my favorite song of theirs.

Gotta be honest, I never expected to see a Norwegian metal musician cover a Canadian bluegrass song. Didn't see that one coming

I would have never expected in my lifetime that I would ever see Leo cover this song. I absolutely enjoy the Dead South and seeing/hearing this cover by Leo really helped me through a rough patch I have been going through lately. Thank you Leo and thank you for all the covers you do in any genre, it's always a pleasure!

I just saw The Dead South perform tonight in Des Moines, and I'm really happy for them that they've made it to the point that Leo will cover them. Great work on all counts.

I've always felt this song needed a rabbit. You guys are awesome keep up the good work.

Rose Tattoo, great Australian band . I met them while working on an exclusive island on the Great Barrier reef, far North Queensland, in the 1980's. There were no day trippers allowed, but when the band rang and asked if they could come over to the island for lunch, the manager, being a Rose Tattoo fan, said yes . After lunch Angry Anderson asked me where they could go to smoke some weed. I told them to go to the top of the hill. There were a bunch of construction guys up there building some new villas and they had no idea the band was on the island. They had the surprise of their lives and spent the afternoon blowing joints and chillin with the band.

I love Dead South. KZread brought them to my attention and I've been a fan every since. It started with this song. Love it.

I wonder how much The Dead South paid You Tube to promote them. I love them but I see a lot of people commenting KZread suggested it to them and they do not even like bluegrass. That shouldn't happen.
