@@charlesbaker7505 5 years is the maximum length of parliamentary term, so from the first day a parliament meets to when it automatically dissolves. this effectively means 5 years from election day until the end of the parliament, not 5 years from one election day to the next. elections require at least 4 weeks to get ready i.e. get all the polling stations and counters in place after parliament has dissolved

Basically he will say: We will be instituting Sharia law.
