In full: Reform MPs struggle to find seats as they arrive in Commons for the first time
Reform MPs have struggled to find seats in the House of Commons as Parliament returned to work this afternoon for the first time since the general election.
The Commons was absolutely packed for the formal reopening and Reform MPs had to stand as proceedings got underway.
The main job of MPs this afternoon is to elect a new Speaker.

There are only 5 or 6 days a year when all available seats are taken. It doesn't make sense to have a ginormous hall in which half the seats are empty for all but a handful of days a year.
Thankfully im awake to the situation regarding the Saxenburgs
I have always disliked this man, but if anyone deserves to become a Lord , it's him, not because he has had a positive effect on British politics, just because, he has had a huge effect on British politics
You'd think with all his wealth, Starmer could afford a packet of lozenges!
