⭐️ These low end so called “universities” offer expensive courses on marginal subjects (underwater basket weaving & elevators science etc) to make a lot of money. Why do the students pay, because they have no intention of going home at the end of the course. This is why they bring their dependents. They then have little to offer the country, but they do have a British degree to get through immigration into the welfare state and a pension. It’s a scam that must be stopped. ✌️

Need to talk about mass deportations not an immigration policy.

An excellent presentation by Mr. Tice and Mr. Farage and great responses to questions too. A combination of gravitas and great, good humour from our politicians is always good to see. Compare and contrast with the insincerity and oiliness of Sunak, the bumbling uncertainty and evasiveness of Starmer and the unintentional slapstick of Davey. Would I drop anything else to tune in to a Tory, Labour or Liberal "Democrat" press conference? Most certainly not.

I agree the Country NEEDS REFORM.

The above summary is very inaccurate. Tice did not "slap down Farage". Anyone who has followed Farage, for any length of time, knows he has a very dry sense of humour. Farage was not offering the Tories a deal merely pointing out how much they owed him which they would never repay . Hence, no deal could be done. As the media failed to understand his humour he promised to never make a joke again whilst being interviewed.

A good start to the campaign for reform this #votereformuk

Finally, a pair of politicians unafraid to openly discuss obvious issues albeit no matter how uncomfortable these maybe. A breath of fresh air. They deserve to be heard and a chance to put their ideas into practice!

What a shame there was not a re alignment of the right NOW instead of waiting for Labour to get in. As it is Sunak and the tories are toast and they know it.

Apprenticeships for the young, great idea, but how about a mature apprenticeship scheme, workers are having to work until they are 67, so training a thirty year old gives us a trained worker for the next thirty-five years (allowing for two years training) 🤔

valid point. I always wanted to train as a plumber or electrician but I wasn't a pimple puss head of 14. Despite being a better worker and not a rectangle flicker. The problem is the tradesman himself.

Power is giveing and recieveing little in return. As its better to give than recieve. Power is giving in, surrender. Ok, please.

Reform UK's policies are ineffective, unrealistic populist rhetoric lacking any substantive details or coherent plans to address major issues facing the UK. Their flagship "migrant tax" proposal is as unworkable as the Rawnda bill and as economically damaging as Brexit. They are nothing but a fringe party without a genuine governing agenda, whose only raison d'etre is to pressure the Tories from the right rather than present viable policies. Their policies of climate change denial, draconian immigration curbs, and drastic unfunded tax cuts would severely damage the UK economy far beyond the Conservatives' controversial Truss budget, by undermining green industries, exacerbating labour shortages, and unsustainably ballooning trade deficits and public debt. So, spot the difference between the Tories and Reform UK? It's the difference between Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dummer. 😂

Given the long-standing "Common Travel Area" (independent of the EU) between the UK and Ireland, presumably the Irish should be classified the same as British passport owners.

I need more specifics on the execution of this policy.

This policy will make no difference to nett immigration numbers, just increase prices. Employers won't pay for immigrant worker tax, their customers will. By the way, I would imagine Tim Martin will be thrilled with this policy ........ not !

Don’t be disingenuous .. all business want to make profit, if British labour was cheaper than foreign workers who would they take? If they want foreign workers then pay the money that they are costing the country. A foreign National given a job will have what they need to make an immigration application that will probably be successful. They will then have full access to health care, social security and a pension all of which they have paid nothing into …. That cost is funded by the tax payer not the employer, this tax would address that imbalance and make British Labour more attractive.

@@johnwalton5720 They will be paying the NHS running costs going forward (on an individual basis) but who paid for the NHS infrastructure to be built? Like the pension, they will pay little in and expect a full pension out. Who if not the tax payer will make up the short fall in what they pay in to what they take out? The same is true of so much of the UK’s infrastructure. Did their family members fight and die in the wars making Britain what it is today? Will they join what we have in our homeland or will they try and change the UK to a version of the country the elected to leave with sharia law etc etc? We must give businesses incentives to employ British workers in British businesses and not simply employ cheap foreign nationals.
