Always been a Tory voter, but ashamed to admit that after the last 8 years, basically since Brexit. He seems genuine, and looks like he will be an excellent administrator and communicator. Cause for optimism.

Love the way Starmer apologists talk to themselves about how they don't mind he is boring. No one ever criticized him for that: no one cares. It seems to be a manufactured argument designed to distract the fact he's intellectually limited, duplicitous and lacking any kind of human decency.

Country first, Party second is not quite the same as The People First, Country Second, Party Third. Putting the people first would, obviously, mean eradicating poverty, challenging bigotry, investing into the needs of the community over the needs of Wealth Extraction. Many of us are suffering intolerable distress due to the way the economy is staged. That distress is entirely avoidable.

I'd rather be told the truth, however, difficult, than gaslit and bullshitted to by politicians who are only concerned with optics and tomorrow's headlines. Honesty, openess and integrity, so long absent from succesive tory governments, will eventually redress the imbalance.
