Agreed! He spoke very well and feels well-educated. He fall outside the stereotype i have of drug addicts/gangsters.

It takes lots of courage to tell his side of his dark past and change for the better. Congratulations Bruce and well done.

After years of getting high, he is now a down to earth person.

Whatever happened, the most important thing is that he did not continue and then destroyed his family in the process. Which is what happens to so many addicts. His daughter should be proud of him and forgive him. Remind each other every day that you love him or her, and that is the best of all drugs. You will see.

man that was strong. I've been told that addiction runs in the family. well i think it's hidden deep inside of us. it's just whether we show and get caught or we don't.

To be cured of addiction is good. Prevention is always better than cure. Bringing down drug cartels and pushers should be the primary interest of anti-drug operation. Stop them before they influent others.

There's a halfway house down the street from where I lived where the residents there are let out supervised on a particular day every week to visit a place of worship. They don't look or behave like they want a second chance or wish to integrate into society.
