Though most of us did not see Dr. Nkrumah's presidency, we learnt there was no freedom of speech during his presidency. It's widely believed those who ventured to express their views politically were held in detention at Nsawam while others who had the resources went into exile under Dr. Nkrumah's regime.

I disagree with NAPO making the assertion that Nana Addo has done more than Nkrumah on the platform of his outdooring as running mate. It proves his political sensibilities as suspect. That comment has taken the shine out of the event and given fodder to an opposition that has been looking for message to shore up their failing campaign. Even though I share the same view with him, the platform was not conducive. Those who disagree must call for a debate to justify his assertion. Unfortunately, those who don't agree with him are the same ppl who have shamelessly drowned Nkrumah's legacies: they sold over 300 of Nkrumah hotels & factories to themselves, failed to unite and left Nkrumah legacies as laughing stock in Ghana politics today. But comparing circumstances and resources available to both leaders, I had long rated Nana Addo as a better achiever.
