I just got my Render Ear Tips today. Crazy how these improve the sound! Thanks for recommending these! And no more pain in my ears while wearing them for long periods of time.

I mostly just want to buy these just to add to the collection... but it's good to know I would probably be really happy with them nevertheless.

We use Comply foam tips for stage and studio. Their 600 series ( which doesn’t fit anything else we have) fit these perfectly. They have the largest bore I’ve seen yet on a tip. I think tip swapping is a must on any Iem you buy. I’ve also been talking to Dekoni about demoing their tips. We throw them away after each use by an artist, started that when Covid hit just to be safe; we buy in 100 quantities, and seldom use stock tips or cables. Comply has series 100-600 to fit anything. But I’m always trying others. It can make a huge difference.

Apollo 13 is a fantastic movie. You get a chance to nerd out and a healthy dose of suspense, and it's one of the few movies where "based on a true story" actually holds water.

@in-earfetish I bought the reds with your render tips and I have to agree with your assessment. The combination rocks! The sound is more open and fuller. I have never heard such a life-like bass drum before. It's truly great!

I can confirm the render tips are unreal. I have some so after watching this video, I have them a shot. I already loved the reds. I then tried the ohm adapter, listening to "spirit in the sky." On my Topping G 5, fake tube amp nirvana. I could almost hear the Valkyrie opening the gates to Valhalla...😊

I rarely use stock tips myself, I like to tip roll, and use a good quality upgrade cable, I usually use a balanced cable as well. I feel like you get the most out of the IEM's with better tips, and most importantly ones that work with the specific IEM's you choose. I still love the Spinfit cp145 large, and lately the blue KZ foam tips. There's some great stock tips I still use, with different IEM's, the Salnotes Zero tips, Easytips, Spring tips from Moondrop. I think I go through about 4 to 6 tips on average with new IEM's.

Also Yosi Horikawa is awesome, I often listen to him myself testing new IEM's 👌 Summertime Rendering was a good heart warming anime too 👍

Yes, yes and yes. These are market-breakers for $55. The Render tips put them over the top and spending another $18 on a balanced Zoe or Zonie cable is worth it, because you’re still well under $100 all-in and these rival my Katos at $190. Even if you stay stock on everything, they’re still competitive sound-wise up to $150. Seriously, Crinnacle nailed this one. F the Har-man!

This is BS and pure cope. I was so curious and intriged by Render tips and how they turned the Zero RED into a "$700 IEM" (of course I knew that was an exageration) that I decided to buy those tips. Turns out they're no better than the stock wide bore tips, they deliver the same sound. But yep, guess who makes money from selling those Render tips... Z is a shill.

@@dess8808 I really did like the Render tips for quite awhile. Don’t use them much now. They did help get me into paying attention to ear tips in general however. So I can’t complain about that. As far as the Render/Red combo sounding like $700 earphones, yeah, no. A little more time, a bunch more experience and IEMs into the ears and I will agree this was an overstatement of their quality. I’ve had a blast along the way though! ☮️

Ordered couple weeks ago when they became available. They are in transit but at least made it in country according to the tracking number.

The Render tips made this IEM incredible. All of the regular tips (except the smallest ones) had seal issues for me.

The first zeros are way overhyped unless you are gaming with them. These look good though.

Once I get my red I’ll finger bang my render tips onto the red tip and let you know. I’ve also got symbios too.

I like these on an amp. Real nice on a Geshelli amp. Upgrade cable added, Tripowin Zonie. Got them in the same order as the Z JoJos. These lack the higher freq of the JoJos and others. My long used set are Thieaudio Legacy 3. Lining up to replace with Legacy 5. But also want the Truthear Hexa to compare to Reds. Already trying to find a new home for the JoJos, due to their shape and my ear canals. If JoJo had 3mm longer canals, would be perfect.

I doubt S&S will fit on them, their core is relatively narrow.

The nozzles were what killed the original ones for me. I wear medium tips in everything and somehow these were unbearably thick. Was a huge bummer, because they sounded amazing. But they were painful to wear on my large helmet sized, average sized ear head.

To be honest, I tested with the Render tips and didn't like the result at all. If anything, they made it sound clearly worse. To my ears, the stock small/mid-sized tips with the smaller bore sound much better. TF am I doing wrong?

What's the mm measurement of the nozzle? The Monarch Mark II's are pretty big too.

Seal way harder, shorter length. More dense foam. MAX seal basically.

These are boring but they're 50$ for 80% of Oracles or Blessing 2's. The 10 ohm resistor for "bass" throws off the timbre too much with hardly a contribution to the low end to matter I tested for 4 days with a mojo 2 and BTR7. Used Sedna crystals and Earfit lights.

Review the yanyin canon 2.

Can i plug this directly to my phone and enjoy it ? Will my galaxy s8 drive it decently ?

Call me out all you want, I'm testing the new moondrop littlewhite with them and not the Kato's or anything else in my collection. I don't think price really matters under say $400. You can have a $50 iem thats your favorite and does everything you need or a $399 Iem that accomplishes the exact same tasks in a different more expensive way. Iems are fucking wild in that regard.

I mean. In a blind test you would probably notice more fine details in treble of flagship IEMs or more pronounced soundstage etc.. BUT price to performance makes me praise things harder. These are so cheap and this good? YES

can i mix song s with these? or should i use m40x..

As a tip roller, I was sad that I was not able to use some of my favorite tips due to the longer nozzle and most of the tips I really like are short. I could get O-rings but the nozzle are already wide enough for me to not bother.

As someone who sound demos things. Don't always trust the sound demos. We try our best but can't pull it off 100% also I can't imagine how you would record a demo with one set of tips and have it represent the whole IEM experience

@@in-earfetish For sure, there are a lot of variables that influence the sound demos. However I also don't have access to the AMPs and DACs reviewers have so I'd run my stright off of mine phone which will also influence the sound. We can never be certain whether something suits us unless we try it. Everything is just for better educated guesses.

Keep in mind you are hearing them thru a microphone and thru your speakers. They are good for comparisons in terms of which one has more treble or bass (but then even insertion depth and tips make a difference), but are useless in terms of finding one that sounds the best.

I heard the ie600 sound demo from dan on my etymotic er2xr. Didn't sound super impressive there. But i ordered it anyways looking at multiple graphs, seeing how close it was to looking like a more v shape etymotic. And its the best set i have now, and i love how it sounds. Granted i did tip roll to cp145. Thats something i do on all iems i own (tip roll). The demo might not accurately portray how the sound passes through the ear canal. They are to be used as a relative comparison points.

Zzzzz! I know stupid question, but how have you hooked up so many amps to the same source. Please please tell meeeeee.

Why's nobody talking about your eartips? Are they shet? Usually collabs, when they're good at least, make people talk. Is the silicon on those grippy medical grade silicon or the normal shetty silicon?

And here´s the unpopular opinion. I have the Blue ones for the 2nd week. Not enough isolation. My music collection (soundtracks) sounds dull - everything but "amazing" on them. And yeah the tips are aweful. Nozzle is far too big and wide. They are the anti fun IEMs for me. "Build in Sub". Lol .. listening to Dark Knight/Zimmer, there is no low rumble. Stay away from Crin. Sry Z.

You will note that I specifically stated to try different tips as it modifies the sound even further. I have in the past criticized critical for his overly accurate sound? So adding a little Funk to it helps a great deal

Update: Yeah Spintfit W1 finally did it, Steve Jablonsky, Hans Zimmer even Philip Glass sound like they should ... 3dB boost@30Hz is recommended.

I bought this a month ago, and I hated it. I tried it for 3 days hoping that I may adapt to it but on the third day I was sure that I hated it, there is no backdrop to music only instruments here and there they kill the feel of music, Songs sound emotionless, and the worst thing is it doesn't fit in the ear you have to have big ears to use these. The only good thing about these was the box they came in.

The nozzles being so abnormally large is the reason why I won't be buying this IEM. It's way too big for my ear canal and will hurt after 5 minutes. So much hype over this IEM, when it's just a retuned Truthear Zero. Kind of ridiculous.

I mean I reviewed the zero and it was good but this is better than the zero significantly. Be amazing what a good tune can do and then a tip swap. Does suck with the extremely large nozzle however, luckily my ear holes are pretty massive

I lay my tips upside down on the table and shove the IEM nozzle in, works great, I'm also disabled and have bad finger dexterity. But if you guys have trouble with tips it works every time

My only concern with this would be pressurizing the nozzle and forcing air in may hurt some drivers
