Have a pair of ZE8000, absolutely love the sound. Hate everything about the form-factor, build, connectivity, and case. I end up mostly using my airpods pro 2 when I am out of the house/at the gym but when I want to just lay down in bed and listen to music these are a godsend. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for the best TWS IEM.

Speaking of TWS IEMs that surprised, I ended up picking up a pair of Edifier NeoBuds 2 Pros a few months ago because I needed a new pair and, well, it's Edifier. I can comfortably state that they are some of the most fun sounding headphones I have, period. The bass quantity and quality is absolutely insane, it's like there is a real sub built in (using the "Dynamic" sound mode in the app). The highs are really detailed as well and nothing sounds muddy or "off". I'm really curious to hear what other audiophiles think of them since I've only really seen mainstream discussion surrounding them.

I have them as well and they do sound amazing it's something about their tuning I love. Also another amazing sounding tws is the jlab epic lab edition. Probably the best sounding set I've heard and I've had a lot of tws earbuds. They have a Knowles eq you can choose and it's really good.

I hate true Wireless that look like this. Why don't they put a driver at the end? It looks like a person with his head in his chest or stomach, rather than having it at the top of his body.

I actually researched this for an Elementary school science project. Imagine if 90% of your body weight was in your head instead of your torso. You'd have difficulty standing upright and constantly be toppling over in some random direction. Basically, they do this with IEMs for balance purposes to reduce the perceived weight of the IEM and reduce wear fatigue by putting the majority of the weight in the middle which, much like when we twist or bend our torso, helps stabilize the IEMs when you turn or move your head.

​@@TheZoenGaming Yeah and it also stands out. I think the problem is people are now just used to the AirPods Pro etc so anything that looks different seems bizarre to them. But I mean the first generation airpods still look ridiculous, it's just that people got used to them. Frankly I don't care what s*** looks like. It's not like I can see them when I'm wearing them. But I can't understand the frustration of trying to get them out of the case. That's a good utilitarian concern

I do like TWS. Wired headphones for home & wire free pocket size gems for everything else. Keep the reviews coming Z.

Nice to see that you're still supporting a phone with the headphone jack. I do wish Sony would use the more premium dac like LG -- but whatever. it's still a huge win that somebody is still staying true with SD card support under headphone jack now that LG is off the market.

I have the Swan AW-75 TWS and as you say they are for convenience so I couldn't justify spending $350 when the Swans are superb sounding for the $99. Absolute pain to operate, however, I listen to my library on shuffle so not really an issue.

I got the Mark 5.. Solid upgrade/refresh. Keeping the 4k screen is fine with me. Fixed most of the issues I had with the 3

Honestly. I think maybe the Mk1, they have been here a while. Not sure when the swap happened. I will have to research.

Zeos still allergic to apps. Lol. I think that's why you were relatively underwhelmed by the Q5K because almost all of that magic is in the app. (Although it does have an extension for Chrome on desktop I think)

These would be decent if you could change the tips rather than being forced to use their awkward eartip/concha pillows. Not having those 2 separate is dumb.

they're $238 at amazon right now (not $350), still a pass - galaxy pro 2 buds nail it for me

Shure 846 with the Shure TW2 is $1100, & sounds great with the built-in 4-band parametric EQ & also has a really good transparency mode. I have two of them.

Yeah, both aren’t worth it though. The ze3000 are better.

Status between 3ANC blow these out of the water. Also much cheaper. In fact I prefer those over a lot of iems, which is crazy. I still use AirPods Pro 2 on my commute though, nothing beats their convenience and passive mode.

i just looked at the squigly graph (VSG) and this is horrible tuning. horrendous tbh.2k-9k is dead. no midrange at all and boosted mid bass on top of that. after looking them up on soundguys i noticed all the other cons of slow charging, bad battery life and bad anc. why bother when there are atleast 3 different companies that make better high end TWS. I am disappointed Z
