NOTES:
*I dry my hair with the diffuser to 100% dry before flipping it upright. Flipping upright before it's dry can cause clumps to separate. If remaining upside down is uncomfortable, you can also dry side-to-side.
*In creating this video, I pull a ZazzyBandz headband from my hair. I needed to keep my hair off my face while moving the camera around to film. I do not dry my hair with a headband in.
*This video is not sponsored nor was I asked to create this video by the brand. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

    This is a very helpful video. I'm new to the CGC. I tried this routine and it made such a difference even though my hair is almost shoulder length and low density. The hammock method worked great for me. Love, love, love how my hair came out.

    Love your hair! I’ve seen videos where the amount of conditioner your using is too much for this brand because I’ve heard it’s super concentrated so it’s better to leave a ton of water in the hair after rinsing the shampoo so that it distributes easier. Just a helpful tip that might save you some product and $$! :)

    Wow your hair looks incredible. I have extremely thick course hair. Not so much curly but wavy/ curly if that’s makes sense. I can never find any products that work for my hair and I always go through so much conditioner that it’s insane. I kinda wanna give this brand a chance but I am hesitant. Does defusing your hair make a huge difference or not really because I always let my hair air dry. Than brush them out and brade it and I repeat that several times to manage the frizz and the tangles as well as the waves.

    Been trying these products and the ones with rice protein are making my hair very stiff, tangled, and dry. Obviously they give me protein overload. So now I only use them when I need some protein balance. I’m sad though, other people seem to have such good results.

    Is this still your routine? I purchased a slew of bounce curl, innersense, jessicurl, etc products and I’ve just started CG. I washed my hair 3 times this week. I’m not loving the results and I’m trying to stay encouraged. My curl clumps are super stringy and I never get a cast :( Just curious if this is still your tried and favorite routine. Thanks!

    I love how succinct your videos are, I get tired of the extraneous talking by other influencers. One problem that I have is that it seems like using a flour sack towel (or t-shirt, or MF towel) seems to pull product out of my hair. But my hair also stays super saturated with water if I don't...😣

    Do you find the Pure line moisturizing enough? I used to use the Color line, but I’m always on the lookout for something that’s moisturizing but lightweight enough to not to weigh my hair down...

    Color Radiance (the conditioner from that line) used to be my holy grail. For whatever reason, it stopped working for me :(. I haven’t been able to find anything as good ever since. I got a travel size of the Pure line, so I’ll see if it performs well. Hoping it’s moisturizing enough for my coarse hair! I though about getting the Hydrating line, but it just seems so heavy 😬. They did reformulated the Color Radiance conditioner recently, so I may try it again and see if my hair likes it again...

    Connie Kirby no just from scrunching. I have my hair soaking wet and even when I’m in the shower and scrunch I can see frizz forming :/

  • @neen42

    I get a tiny bit, but not frizzy when dry. My hair won't do much without scrunching (although it's been more lively lately). I gel after leave in when when and then use a bit more mixed with water when damp. I do use a pretty thick, sticky gel, so that makes it a bit more lightweight for the 2nd application. Not sure if you've tried this already or if it will work for you - hopefully you'll find something that helps!

    What porosity is your hair? Also, what products are in your hair when you’re scrunching?

  • @sollara2312

    @sollara2312

    Connie Kirby I’m pretty sure I have high porosity. I have a balayage so some of it is bleached. I use the suave coconut conditioner. When I have it coated with conditioner and scrunch is when I see it start frizzyng. Then once I rinse and turn off the shower I’ve been using Maui moistures curl smoothie and then either tressemes gel or garnier jelly. I’m about two months in the cgm. So idk if that could be part of it

    Why did you rinse the conditioner out then turn around and put it right back in?? A "leave in" conditioner is just conditioner.
