I'm switching from P fold to pixel 8 pro. I don't use the fold like I thought I would. They are both good phones. But the cameras are noticeably better on the 8 pro.

Extremely useful. I would only ask one thing: take more time to show how you're getting to the specific items. For instance, I was still in System settings when you referred to the "phone app". I went into the system apps looking for the screen you displayed. In this case, showing the phone icon would've been really useful. This phone is totally new to me, as is much of the terminology. Thanks so much for this tutorial.

Identify song playing nearby, screen attention, flip to shhh, and screen call are all useful and essential features to have your Pixel. The "Direct my call and Hold for me" are two feature I'll need to see in action to see its efficacy. These two features appears to be necessary for daily use I'll love for them to be highly reliable to be adopted permanently (Direct my call & Hold for me). 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾

I don't see a screen resolution option on my pixel 8, even searched for it in settings. It's not there. Maybe it's a Pro only option?

My phone isn't showing "hold for me, direct my call and call screen" under assistive. Any idea why?

I'm a bit sad because the pro mode and some other things won't come to the Pixel Fold. I know it's not a Pro device BUT the most expensive in the line so I would like to have the option. Of course I could use 3rd party apps but it's nicer to have it as part of the standard cam than a separate app. Even for the full resolution sensor pictures with 50 mp.

Questions for ya. Can you take 48mpx shots on the ultrawide ? Can you do 60fps on the ultrawide? I use my phone as a back up GoPro so I want a good upgrade that has a great ultrawide camera.

When you switch to 50MP mode, it applies to all rear sensors. Even the UW produces a 50MP image due to (I assume, sensor fusion). 4k 60 is possible on the UW as well.

With this pixel, just install the Google one app. A VPN is built in and is safe.

It's such a shame (again!) you just can choose in temperature colours between natural and adaptive! No option for choosing between different temperature colors of the display! Damn Google my Huawei p10 can do this so fine!!!
