In-Depth Slayer Single Group Review

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

We are going to test and explore what is often referred to as the Ultimate single group espresso machine - The SLAYER Single Group!
The Slayer Single Group as the name already says is the little brother to the Slayer Espresso V3 and comes with many incredible features (and more).
In this video we want to take a deep dive into the technology of the Slayer Single Group and what sets it apart from other machines.
Of course we can't complete a review of such an incredible machine without making and tasting some coffee. And let me tell you, the so called "Slayer Shot" is a dream come true for every espresso enthusiast, like me! The rich and sweet shots this machine produces can bring some balance even into your wildest light roasts, of course without over extraction or losing the fruity characters of the beans.
Let me know in the comments what you think of the machine and if you've ever had the chance to work with one yourself!

Great video! I have a Slayer single group at home and love it! One thing you forgot to mention is the customizability of the machine in terms of material finishes, colors, etc. You can create a unique look, for example I chose orange finish with zebra wood handles.

That's awesome! Up to this day the V3 is my favourite commercial machine to work with 😊

Hey, thank you for your comment. Yes, the Slayer is an amazing machine, sadly I don't have it at home. Do you want to change for a specific reason or do you just want to try something new?

@@BeanTalk yes just want to change a new modern tech I think. Maybe like Connected App or automatically stop when yield reach some points etc. You know after have it for 5 and almost 6 years, the grass is greener on the other side lol 😂

Nice machine! Londinium is the best looking espresso machine imo and built like a tank.

Hey thank you for your comment! I haven't tried either the Bianca nor the Domobar. But to me the Slayer (not talking about price) is from the design and the effortless handling the best single group machine I have worked with. But of course everyone has different opinions and this is a subjective topic. That's why I'm always curious to hear from others. What do you like or not like about the Bianca compared to the Slayer? 😊

@@BeanTalk Slayer is more commercial, albeit the VBM is somewhat commercial. Slayer also is more consistent, has better thermal stability, better steaming, more luxurious and is the jewel crown of espresso machines. VBM has biggest E61 group head which is better than most in thermal stability (not better than slayer though). VBM has programmable pressure profiling which is amazing for its price. Also its super cheap compared to Slayer. Edit: When I claimed that the domobar super was better, I hadn't researched enough bout the Slayer. The only 3 things VBM super has over that Slayer is price, size and Profile programming.
