I'm Chad Dolbier the creator of CCV. After High School I was unsure of what to do for a career as many young adults are. Instead of going to college I decided to start working in the car business in 2000. My first car job was at Acura of Charleston being a car detailer/washer. In 2003 our Acura store started to clear land next door and built Audi of Charleston. After a few years passing and still detailing Acura's & Audi's in 2005 I was asked to be a car salesman. In 2006 I started the Internet Department for Acura & Audi. Then in 2008 is when the car videos all started up! 2010 is when I left Acura & Audi and started my own car dealership video business. That is an XLT with the sport appearance package. You were looking at the non-turbo 290hp engine. Sport models have the eco boost engine cover and quad exhaust tips and standard AWD.

this model don't have the 365 horse power ecoboost. this is a xlt sport model

I have a 17 explorer sport and buddy that is definitely not the 3.5 twin turbo motor.

Not good if a dealership doesn't know the difference between models. This is an XLT w/appearance pkg folks, not a Sport.

Watch the video closely before you slam it. He specifically said in the beginning that this is the Explorer XLT with the sport package. You're correct that it isn't the Explorer Sport, but he never said it was. Again, It's an XLT WITH the Sport Package. Obviously, it's not the dealership that doesn't know the difference,,,,,,,,, It's you.

@@stevengoad971 before you "slam" my comment I know what he said it was but has no clue what he's talking about . How about u watch the video closely and listen how many times he said Explorer Sport. The engine and drivetrain are completely different. This does not have the 3.5TT engine and does not have the horsepower he claims.

@@Tony331 So sorry I hurt your feelings. I know the difference in the specs of the two and he named the car at the very beginning of the video AND its proper name. He did not claim it was a Sport,,,,, he said exactly what the package is and that's an XLT with the Sport package. Have a good one.

This is not a “Sport”. It’s the XLT with the “Sport Appearance” package. I would have expected you to know the difference.
I wish these guys new everything about the truck before doing reviews. This is not a sport and does not have 365 horse power

Notice he keeps calling it a sport but it's a sport appearance package and that engine has 290hp not 365 it was naturally aspirated not turbo I have a 17 model like this had a 2011 limited. But in the market for another will swing by sometime. Just don't send anyone my way that says XLT 290 hp engine is a raptor motor I know the difference
That's not the Ecoboost motor in that XLT !

The guy in this video is our Internet Manager. He usually just deals with emailing customers and updating our websites/social media stuff.
