In Depth, How To Catch Mahi Mahi at the FAD's - Perth

Спорт

In this video I share what I've learnt about catching Mahi Mahi (Dolphin Fish) at the FAD's off Perth. Each summer Recfishwest and Perth Game Fishing Club deploy Fish Aggregating Devices along the WA coast to allow fisherman the chance to target these fish.
Covering locations, weather, boats, fuel usage, gear and techniques this is a must watch if you are considering heading offshore and chasing these amazing sportfish.
Drop a comment down below if you have questions or even just to say you've caught these awesome fish.
Cheers!

Well done Kurt, they are so much fun to play with. Love going out there, if you like to have some company, or join in with other crew give us a shout out. We have Linos and Spearos mixing it up, makes for some fun footage! Cheers for the video, Stay safe!

Thanks mate, generally have solid crew on the boat I just enjoy getting out there solo on occasion. Generally just me being selfish and wanting to catch all the fish haha.

Yeh that could help with the jumping no doubt. Starting playing with one treble and back single and am liking it.

Epic vid. Is the green lure slow sinking or fast sinking?

Thanks mate, they'd be a slow sinking that's what I consider the most versatile but fast sink would no doubt smash it.

Mate, where did you find that ZipBait SS 120? Looks choice as but I can't find one anywhere? Always looking for a new lure to try flicking around.

Hey mate, I would have gone to TackleHQ to get them, if they are out send me a message on instagram and I'll swing you one I have a few spares that haven't been touched in a while. Otherwise the ASWB flutter drop 40s are good but a heavier bodied action design.

I know a guy who’s done it a few times in a 520. You want proper glass weather but definitely do-able a few times a year.
