In conversation with... Wim Wenders, on Alice in the Cities
Фильм және анимация
Director Wim Wenders talks to Professor Peter Buse about Alice in the Cities, his 1974 road movie in which a German writer leaving the USA finds himself unwittingly embarking on a road trip with an eight-year-old girl.
This interview focuses on the role that photography, and the Polaroid in particular, plays in Wenders’ work looking both at this film and his new exhibition 'Instant Stories: Wim Wenders’ Polaroids’ at The Photographers Gallery

I love Wim Wenders. I have just finished watching The American Friend on Film 4.
to me it is a masterpiece of a film, an d so few people speak of it...I do my best to inform.
i loved the trilogy, and muller's works was fascinating
Great movie.
Nice to see and hear that, as nice the movie is. Maybe this conversation is too focused on Polaroid, which I feel as just one part of the movie. For me is more sort of another lost+find characters, in a nice, easy and warm atmosphere. (just like linux directory :-) Nevertheless, photography in the movie is just fantastic.
